27:09 The Sandman is a folklore character who puts people to sleep by throwing his sleeping sand in your eyes so that you have good dreams. That’s why when sometimes you wake up you got that weird crusty stuff in your eyes. It means the sandman paid you a visit to help you sleep.

don't miss parts 2 & 3. All 3 together makes a complete story.

1:04:13 So in this moment the guy on the phone is talking to, who’s supposed to be, Chuck Berry. He was a real life musician in America who basically invented the genre Rock and Roll. The song Marty is singing is called “Johnny B. Goode” which was actually written and sung by Chuck Berry. The joke here is that this is taking place before Chuck Berry invented Rock and Roll and his (supposed) cousin is calling him telling him about this “new sound”. So yeah in this universe Chuck Berry I guess “took inspiration” from Marty’s performance. lol

Former president Ronald Reagan supposedly got a giant kick out of the joke about him being president in the future.

I know everyone is always at least a little upset that Doc uses Einstein to test the Time Machine for the first time, but I think it's sweet, because he made him the world's first ever time traveler, now Einstein will be immortalized in every history book from that point on. I think that was the point for Doc doing that, not that he didn't want to risk it himself. The man loves his dog.

20:14  Actually, the dog never “came back” from the future. It’s always a one-way trip with each jump in Time; Future or Past. The dog was sent 1 minute into the future. Doc & Marty went through that 1 minute in real-time before meeting up with the dog who instantly skipped that 1 minute. That’s why Doc’s watch alarm beeped and he pushed Marty out of the way when the car showed back up. He knew the car would arrive at that moment.

6:51 So interesting thing here! The song Marty and his band are playing is the song playing earlier “Power of Love”. And the teacher on the megaphone telling them they’re playing “too darn loud” is played by the actual singer of that song! His name is Huey Lewis.

This movie has all kinds of funny and interesting Easter eggs throughout the whole franchise. I’m sure many people here in the comments will inform you of a lot of cool and funny things.

The Sandman is a mythical character originating in Germanic and Scandinavian folklore. He visits children in the evening, sprinkles sleep-inducing sand into their eyes and brings dreams. In the morning, the sleep sand is rubbed from the corner of the eyes.

I love this film, mostly because I grew up watching this with my parents.

Fun Fact: This movie was originally a stand-alone movie, meaning they never planned to make sequels at first. So, originally, at the end, it didn’t say “To be continued”, it said “The End”. However, since this movie made a lot of money, they made parts 2 & 3, and rereleased the first movie, with the ending saying “To be continued”.

Doc's "permits" for his weather experiment, when the police office questioned him, was a wad of cash. He was paying the cop to ignore it.

2:40 The skateboard rolls past one of the few clocks with the right time.
3:30 It should have blown his ears, and perhaps blown him over.  But he took too long to fall; it should have been about half a second.

7:50 Every attempt to kiss triggers an interruption.  (Except a quick one as they separate.)
14:00 The car as a time machine: bull's eye!
15:30 Mr. Strickland had a point about Doc.
28:30 Pepsi-Free is caffeine-free rather than sugar-free.
31:00 Naughty Birdwatching.
41:40 I like to imagine that, especially after the events of third movie which toughened up Marty, Marty challenges and tells off Mr. Strickland for jumping on his father instead of the bullies.
49:00 A blink-and-you-miss-it moment, but as Lorraine says, "Oh my God, it's Calvin Klein," she clings to George.
58:00 Biff to the rescue!
1:06:00 Doc is momentarily disturbed at the change.  "Never?"
1:10:30 Doc hanging by one hand on the clock shouts out to an older movie, "Safety Last" starring Harold Lloyd.
1:15:50 I wish that Doc had figured it out on his own.
1:18:40 Biff is better off as well: his own business, no alcoholic flush, no fear of being caught out as a fraud,...
1:19:00 The attempt to kiss that changed the world.  It dragged Doc back in time to interrupt the kiss.
1:20:50 And the adventure continues.  (They never intended to set this up for a sequel.  They had no idea of producing one.)

That downtown is Stars Hollow! Come on Rory we're gonna be late for movie night! Stupid is, as stupid does.

I was, or was about to be 10 when this came out
6:26 "you're a slacker, your father was a slacker and your GRANDPA was a slacker"

GREAT SCOTT!!!

My favorite Vtuber movie reactor watched Back to the Future.

Now you have to come with me… back to watching more Back to the Future

The legendary concert scene!!
I've practiced Johnny B. Goode to recreate this scene with my guitar and still perform it on little session stage from time on time

Hoped on so fast! Thanks for the reaction!

The sequel is one of the best put together time travel stories ever written, it fits together so incredibly well.

Back to the future is a good trilogy with action romance as it shows and explains its own rules of time travel that other series and movies try. The trilogy has a follow-up in a Telltale game which acts as a 4th movie.

2:36 Its not much of a house since its Doc Browns Garage having been converted into his workshop/Lab since the Brown Mansion was burned down in August 1st 1962 probably from one of his experiments.

2:58 Plutonium is radioactive chemical material its dangerous as it can be used in Bombs. Thankfully this movie has no nuclear bomb.

3:25:Its a giant sound amplifier when set at the highest setting.

The film is primarily set in the start October 25th 1985 before jumping back 30 years into the past November 5th 1955.

Fun fact the Power of love song was used as a montage in Deadpool Vs Wolverine.

Principal Strickland isn't exactly a great man he's more of the tough strick type which extends back to his ancestors in 1885 in Back To The Future 3

13:48 Doc brown is experimenting with time thus he makes a time machine out of a DeLorean which is a car that he heavily modified though its missing one thing that would have made it better to drive.

16:00-17:33 to explain away Doc browns science basically the chrome steel material the car is made from has no issues with creating a time displacement in the form of the flames on the street meaning the car can travel without a problem through time though when it comes out it does have to vent the excess energy it uses hence the steam and the car is a block of ice which does thaw fast like dry ice. There is one issue with it and its the time display circuits have a tendency to glitch up.

The car itself in order to time travel for this film it needs Plutonium for the 1.21 gigawatts of energy. One vile of Plutonium is enough for one trip which isn't good meaning once you time travel and it cools down you need to re fill it with another thing of Plutonium for a trip back.

26:23 there is plutonium in 1955 but sadly its currently in the Governments hands either locked away in labs or being used for bomb tests.

28:36 Considering Marty time traveled to the past he may need something with 0 sugar to try make sense of things since time travel has a nasty habit of making one over think. The moment you make any kind of small change in the past it will alter and affect the future in ways you can't undo.  I have seen enough movies and shows dealing with time travel and it causes headaches thinking about it and I would have to have a white board and explain it really hard. Austin Powers The Spy who shagged me has the joke about it.

If you ever get to Back to the future 2 and 3 I'll explain the wibbly wobbly timey wimy stuff.

37:35-38:43 He did and he already drew the flux capacitor. The past Doc brown is just now seeing and hearing what he did came true. So he'll still make the time machine regardless.

Yeah to ensure he gets the needed 1.21 gigawats of energy it has to be directly into the time machine.

1:18:55 after being punched out by George Biff doesn't serve him he's now an owner of his own Auto Detailing shop

1:20:02 roll credits

1:19:58-1:20:47 It won't be mentioned but basically when Doc brown went to the Future he got his DeLorean time machine upgraded. In terms of the upgrades the car runs like a regular car needing gas. The car has gone through a hover conversion meaning it can fly and the biggest upgrade came in the form of Mr Fusion. With it the car doesn't need Plutonium anymore. Mr Fusion takes any household waste or converted waste/Garbage and turns it into nuclear fusion which now powers the time circuits and the car can travel back in time.

1:20:55 It does but the second film one recaps the ending of the first briefly for setup.
