What part of Back to the Future is your favorite?

Rick and Morty IS based on this, actually.

After the second episode, I thought you wouldn't continue. I'm glad to see this alternate timeline where you react to all three episodes :)

50:04 The song that Marty is playing, “Johnny Be Goode,” was written by Chuck Berry in 1958. So Marvin Berry telephones his cousin Chuck to let him hear it.Chuck gets a sneak preview of his own song 3 years before he writes it.

I love how you nonchalantly mentioned face timing when that is something the movie correctly predicted and also the drone walking the dog is totally doable today

the nerdy teacher in the gym that tells Marty that the song he is playing is "just too darn loud" is Huey Lewis who is a rock star and wrote the theme song for the movie. . . also, the blonde guy in the hat playing the bass onstage with Michael J. Fox is also in the band "Huey Lewis And The News". . .

I was able to see this on the big screen and have watched these many, many times over the years. Y’all did an excellent job !!!! Thanks for that “). I love watching movies from my younger days and yall made it extra fun !!!!

Facetime didn't exist in the 80's so that was an incredible feature that they got right about the future.  Even the phone glasses were pretty dang close.

It's great that you've now seen the entire trilogy. Without the ending, it would have been like a cake that was only half-eaten.

I was just a little kid when these movies originally came out but to be honest, there's nothing wrong with calling them old because they objectively are.

I'm commenting very early into this watch party but had to pause just to say that the history of television in black and white vs color is incredibly interesting and the transition started surprisingly early. They started developing color televisions in the early 1950s and the first color television sets began to be sold by 1954, but it took decades for them to become widespread. Color tvs didn't start outselling black and white models until the early 70s and by the 80s it was the standard. But just as an example of what could be done early on, the first Superman tv show started airing in 1952 and ran for 6 total seasons. The first two seasons were entirely shot in black and white, but seasons 3-6 were produced in full color. Most viewers were still watching the show in black and white anyway, but the extremely few people who adapted to color early were able to see it as shot.

The tv in 1984 was color but the show  from 1955 was in black and white.

right on relativity, to lose 1 second compared to people on earth an astronaut at the iss would need to be there for over 100 years. the guy with the current record in orbit of over 800 days is 0.02 seconds younger than if he stayed on earth

Nice to see the third film brought you back to the fandom of these films. Also, really liked Lily's shirt for the last reaction, neat.

2:09:50 -- Fun fact! In the Wild West, "dude" was a derogatory term, believed to be derived from "Yankee Doodle," referring to a city-dweller from east of the Mississippi who was in no way suited to the frontier lifestyle. If someone like Griff Tannen called you that in a saloon, it was neither casual nor friendly. Most likely, just like we see in this scene, it was the last thing you'd hear before someone makes you "dance" with their six-shooter.

Just to be clear, the hoverboard had tech for Doc to make a flux capacitor on the train. Everything else on the train (like the hovering ability) is from the future which is where he went after finishing it.

2:50:00 so technically speaking, Back to the Future the Cartoon or Back to the Future: The Game can serve as a Part 4

Not sure if anyone has already pointed out this cool detail in the first movie:
When Doc first shows Marty the DeLorean, they are at the Twin Pines Mall 🌲🌲....which, in 1955, was the Twin Pines Ranch. Marty crashes into and kills one of those pines when he arrives in the past. Then when we return to 1985, the mall is now called the Lone Pine Mall 🌲

“Old..,” yeah, you know… in the before times… the dark ages 🤣🤣. I was 17 when part 3 came out… between my junior and senior year of high school.

5:55 One hundred percent! Glad someone else noticed!
