14:13 don’t know how many people noticed but that character is an amputee with no prosthetic in a world where the rich have advance animatronics for entertainment and I feel that good world building

21:52 i mean what he's saying is basically: in the park there are as many cameras as there are stars in the sky and they all share the same memory card recording and saving every move you make anywhere in the park. This is a surveillance state 😊 just in a more whimsical language with princess androids and "magic" memory. It's pretty dystopian.

26:36 Dana clarified she has multiple nicknames, based on her own experience with being referred to as "Dan" or "Danny"

Love how the intro visualy introduce Olivia as "a princess trapped in a tall, tall tower and locked away by complicated machines that run on blood and fear", only to violently hit you with Olivia calling Guinevere "Princess" a couple minutes latter while pulling at her guts, followed why Gwen jumping out of the balcony to try to escape

"Complicated machines that run on blood and fear", I guess that's a way to describes humans...

(obviously there is the big guy at th end, too, since he seems to bleed red, but I believe the general consensus on him is that he's human/biological/a cyborg, so same difference)

YESSSS FINALLY I’VE BEEN WAITIN’ FOR THIS ONE 🔥 i swear Dana is physically incapable of NOT producing absolute peak.

He is talking in old english because he is King Arthur (in the credit it's written) SO simply as a reference i think !!

Fantastic reaction!

OKAY! So....some clarifications for you;

- Regarding the man that coughed up blue: in the time lapse leading up to our first meeting with Francesca and Andrea the digital billboards were showing "blue lung" was on the rise and advertising blue lung insurance. The fumes from the factories are causing "blue lung", not dissimilar to "black lung" for coal miners (and it's also causing people to be born with blue skin, fully or in patches like on the man that spit on Andi).

- Only the androids have "blue blood", which is obviously synthetic. It's basically the same thing as what the androids used in Detroit: Become Human.

- Yes, that old woman IS Olivia from the start. The park has been in operation and established for YEARS when we meet Frankie and Andi (you can actually see a more grown Olivia during the time lapse when she and Gwen are appearing after the first movie.)

- Concerning Frankie and her "hallucinations": I have a theory that not only is Frankie on the spectrum but that she also has maladaptive daydreaming, hence why when we see things from her perspective at times it appears as though it's a completely different reality. It also could explain why she was basically talking to herself and completely unaware of Andi's presence when she came home until she was snapped out of it.

- Crownies: anyone who works for the park and its upper eschelon of intricacies are called "crownies" (because princess) and are seen as traitors to the common folk.

- The Princess: There are many Gwen clones themed for different things but only the first true Gwen that belongs to Olivia, which is the same one that Frankie finds in the scrap. She's made several attempts to escape, has been caught and brought back to Olivia for "repairs". Also, for something EXTRA horrific, think about the fact that ALL GWENS share each others' memories. That suggests that they also share the first Gwen's memories, including all those years of torture at the hands of her creator.

The park is not all dreams and fairy tales and is only going to get worse from here! 😂❤

32:36 in this shot ESPECIALLY you can see that gwen has pins in her cheeks to make sure she stays smiling, which is an extra little messed up detail

21:44 I got news for you, Mortius... characters with this concept exist! They're called Barbie and Mickey-

Just a little fun fact: the actress for the robot nurse in the scene with old Olivia also voices Sparky (Frankie's boss). She's got range!

Fun fact: that "All monarchs are usurpers or descendants of usurpers" bit is actually a Mark Twain quote.

I have a few theories:

First, I think the "machines that run on blood and fear" were actually Orville and Olivia. Not that they were literal machines, but emotionless and cold, like machines.

Secondly, I believe Orville is the giant robot-monster-thing, Sir Arthur. His VA is not only the same person, but doing the exact same voice, and it would give Orville more presence in the story. Plus, it slots nearly into theory three.

I believe the original Gwen has the brain and likely baseline organs of Olivia's mother. Given that Guinevere is the wife of Sir Arthur, it would make sense.

Also, number four, I genuinely feel like Frankie is an undiagnosed schizophrenic. Media tends to pretend like schizophrenics are unable to function in society, which is absolutely wrong.

I also think Andi was fired because of Frankie. Not intentionally, mind you: Disney has a "do as we say" kinda mentality to things. Consider the Owl House; it was extremely successful, but it didn't "fit the brand" so it was canceled. You didn't succeed in the way Disney wants, so get out. Andi was told to do the robot in a certain way, and when Frankie proposed an obvious fix that solved major issues, Andi got fired... Because it wasn't what she was "told to do." She wasn't told to simplify the system, she was told to do what Ajay told her to do.

And I also think Andi doesn't want Frankie involved in Park Planet because she's convinced it's going to destroy her creativity and individuality. Not to mention that childlike wonder she has for the company.

Also 29:40 "Epcot Ball" isn't wrong. Andi did say the lower labs were a place where "old projects were left to rot." Like Epcot was.

Not-So-Average-Fangirl and Wee Lass Reacts are some of my favorite reactors so I’m glad to see that you have talked to them behind the scenes! Can’t wait to see their indie project get fleshed out and see you react to it if you do!

Fyi, the blue stuff is most likely cobalt poisoning. It's a representation of how park planet's work is literally poisoning the world that it feeds off of.

2:37 i’m sorry they’re WHAT. EXCUSE ME. I’VE WATCHED ELIJAH FOR YEARS WHAAAAAAT

There's multiple gwens but this one is the main Gwen kinda like in spider man there's different versions of peter but there's still one definitive main Peter so she's basically Gwenevire prime is what I'm trying to say here

I highly suggest Lackadaisy once it starts coming out with Glitch, I've been following the animator since it was a webcomic back in the early 2010s

I said this to my friend when we watched the pilot the night it came out but I really like that Dana and the team can just go wild with the eeriness without big studios watching them like hawks.

(Also fun fact about the claw machine scene, after Frankie and Andi drop to the ground, you can see the difference plushies they have in there and some reference glitches other projects like TADC, Murder Drones, and Gaslight District)

Sparky and Frankie's relationship is so intriguing to me. Like they never spell out what their relationship actually is, if they're related at all or if it's an adoptive thing but absolutely everything points to a father/daughter dynamic, albeit quite a dysfunctional one if not downright abusive at times.
Despite the threat Sparky poses, you can still feel the familial affection between him and Frank, not from any lip-service fed to us but from how they behave around each other.
This show really respects it's audience and has faith in our sense of media literacy, I only hope we as a fandom can live up to that faith at least somewhat^^;

28:52 this character is my favorite character so far and his name is sir arthur (more than likely based off of arthurian legend with the way he speaks and the fact that the main royal of park planet is guinevere, king arthurs wife in legend)
