I think "complicated machines that run on blood and fear" is a metaphor for "humans" from Princess Guniveres' perspective.

I thought this watching it myself, I'll say it here: This was clearly made with love for what Disney was, while made with disdain for what Disney has become.

if a guinevere android keeps memories of experiences with each person, then she definitely keeps memories of when her captor tortures her

I suspect that when Olivia talks about "fixing" Guinevere, she doesn't just mean physically, but rather talks about "fixing" her behavior.
The physical damage is either the method to achieve it, or merely damage Guinevere sustains during her attemps at escaping.

I think Frankie having pretty vivid hallucinations is one of the most under-talked part of this

15:33 I think it's the same one. Everyone keeps saying they don't recognize the model, so it's probably the self-aware one that Olivia "fixed" over and over again, over god knows how many years.

I’m gonna be watching this pilot so many times with how many reactors I also watch XDD

I don't think anyone's mentioned that since every Guinevere has the memories of every interaction that they've had, that is basically just the most sanitized version of a mass surveillance system imaginable.

I think you're missing a key piece of the social dynamic. The park is just the floating islands in the sky. The city on the ground is just a normal city. It's very reminiscent of the relationship between Disneyland and the city of Anaheim. A lot of money, land, and city resources go to supporting Disney while the rest of the city isn't really doing great.

18:20 no, that was the floating park, the factory town is on the surface

I think I am already in love with it… there’s so much in this first episode and I love the characters! So many questions, I’m excited to see what’s next :)

I think they are playing with a neat concept. Frank was staring at a snowy TV and seeing a program on the TV, and seemingly hallucinating the stuffed animals talking. Quinevere also seems to be not experiencing reality for what it is, I think she sees everything in a layer of fantasy (Hence how she sees them in the ending shot) So, Guinevere might be totally unaware of the outside world, and the outside world is totally oblivious to what Guin is seeing and experiencing. I think it would be interesting is Frank has perhaps undiagnosed Schizophrenia and they could kind of understand Guin and what she's going though, they could bond over their similarities.

The pilot was phenomenal I already want more

Glitch: So how much shade do you want to throw at Disney?

Dana Terrace: Yes.

LOVED How it's portraying What Disney was to What Disney has become and LOVED How the creator is getting her sweet revenge against Disney for cancelling The Owl House seen the pilot to Knights of Guinevere

When the narrator talked about a princess trapped in a tower who's lonely and in desperate need of a friend, I wonder if it's not just Guinevere who needs help. It seems like the same could be said about Olivia too, who's just as trapped as Guinevere and is also emotionally dependent on her.

I’m surprised at how many moments there were that I felt genuinely uncomfortable and disturbed, I loved it so much lol

I think you missunderstood the setting....

The Guinevere Parks are not were Frankie, Andy and all the common folk live... they live in... what we assume is earth (they mentioned planet terraforming so im not completely sure). The Parks themselves are located on top of massive floating structures in the skies of the planet, and they most likely look as shiny and "magical" as when Olivia was a little girl.

This pilot was SO GOOD. And this is coming from someone who hasn't watched any of Glitch's other stuff, but I love Dana Terrace's work, and I am HOOKED.

There is a QR code in the PILOT that leads you to some secrets. When Frankie was scolded by the boss who was lying on the matress or something. Next to him there is a QR code.
