Attempt 3 on this one, lets all manifest it stays up! Sorry if it gets taken down again, really hoping this one will be it!

Obviously Inde has already entered the Oscars chat for her acting but casting someone with such an expressive face was the cherry on top!!!

So one thing I have not seen a single review talk about yet is the fact that in the beginning, the first time Bear goes into the crystal shop there is a reflection of him in a mirror behind the counter and it's all cloudy and hard to see him and then at the end when he goes back to the same shop he looks at himself in that same mirror and its crystal clear, I interpreted this as the film saying his true intentions were unclear and by the end the audience had a clear idea of who Bear was as a person.

I agree , it's human to make selfish wishes. The guy sucks because after he realizes there's something very wrong with her he selfishly ignores it until he can't.

There's nothing double-edged about the One Wish Willow.
Bear just made a selfish wish that forced Nikki to love him more than anybody, which includes herself.

Alyska: What's it gonna be, the dead cat?
Me:...

Inde Navarrette legit gave an Academy Award worthy performance here. She legit went from streaming Call of Duty to stealing the show as the newest Scream Queen.

Watching this right now in case it gets taken down again haha. Thanks Alyce

Nikki's screams of trauma and agony at the end will forever haunt me. 💔

And to add insult to injury, she put LETTUCE in the sandywich

@44:11 he dont want to talk to her cause he doesn't care about her. Him asking the question of "what so wrong being with him" should already been the reddest red flag after she cried for him her friend to kill her from the misery she in.

I love the way she said these lines:
• When Bear said he left his gift and she said, "oh, okay"
• Nikki talking about Sandy, "Yeah, I'm sorry. Yeah"
• "I thought we were having a nice DATE!"
• "mUtUaL"
• "I'm just waiting for you to come home"
• "So true!"
• Right after smashing a broken bottle in her face: "I'm so sorry"
• "I don't need your ATTENTIOOONNNNN!"
• "I'll do everything for you, BABY"

Imagine if he gave her the Willow instead of making his wish.

"you cant come in here with this energy man"...says the man in the store channeling The Dude

The problem about the wish is if someone loves you the most in the entire world, you just cannot love them back the same way. Additionally, last thing he said to her when she was leaving was "good night freaky Nikki". I guess the wish kinda adapted to it also, so she became freaky Nikki that was "in love" with Bear. imagine someone loved you more than anything else, even themselves. That just couldn't end differently, especially when it's forced against your will...

Yep! Nikki's goin to prison for life.  No good ending for anyone in this film.

Bear neglected his cat, then made a risky wish, and the cat possessed Nikki's body.
Every time the real Nikki breaks through, it's because she see's her reflection. That's why she held the flower vase in front of her face.

Favorite movie of 2026 so far. This was a big surprise, really enjoyed this one. The actress that played Nikki absolutely stole the show, what a performance

you're gonna need a ten wish willow to keep a reaction to this movie up !

41:28 that backwards movement and reaction from bear was apparenlty all real as  the actor playing bear had no idea what she was gona do in the scene
