Happy 4th everyone! Enjoy 😈

Predators can also be shy, nerdy, socially awkward and “innocent” looking. Bear is literally a r*pist

saddest part of it all, she tried telling him repeatedly it wasn't her because she trusted him to save her, only to realize he was the one that did it to her and his only regret was how it affected HIM

The fact he tried to ALTER the wish, instead of just getting rid of the wish as a whole. He did not care about Nikki.

Bear ruined 3 lives for the low price of 7 dollars😂😂😂

Fun Fact:

Bear trying to throw up the pills at the end in the bathroom was not in the original script. The sequence was supposed to play out where Bear just accepts the OD and doesn't do anything, just sits there. The actor for Bear, Michael Johnston, believed Bear would never do that and he would change his mind. He brought the Idea up to Curry Baker and he loved the idea so much, they went back and shot the entire scene to include the change.

Whats fucked up is the writer and director Curry Barker said in an Interview that the One Wish Willows aren't inherently cursed. They give you exactly what you ask for, Bear just made an inherently evil wish.

The fact that probably real Nikki didn't know about bear's wish at first so when she wrote him the note on the Polaroid she thought he didn't know and was trying to warn him and was also begging him for help because she trusted her friend to help her. What breaks my heart the most is that Nikki was completely alone through all of this. Her friends noticed she had changed, but no one really tried to help her they seemed more worried about Bear. The beginning of the movie shows how kind and caring Nikki is, yet in the end she's left alone, forced to live with the trauma and consequences of everyone else's choices. She deserved so much better.

“What’s so bad about being with me?”, when I tell you I GASPED so loudly at that, Bear you deserved far worse than what you actually got

Honestly the title of the movie not only refers to Fake Nikki’s obsession with Bear but also Bear’s obsession with Nikki to the point where he excuses these insane actions Nikki does and doesn’t even care that he essentially stripped her of her autonomy, despite being told by the original that she would rather die.

The yandere represents an extreme ethical failure of love: an affection so totalizing that it abandons autonomy, converts devotion into dominion, and mistakes coercion for care

The guy threw his dead cat in the garbage bin instead of burying her
If that doesn't tell you what kind of a person he is i dont know what will

The absolute SICKEST part of this entire movie, is how people in REAL LIFE are defending Bear. STILL defending him.

7:36 Sheera being the only one who clocked that Niki wasn’t interested proves women’s intuition is real lmao. I swear all of us who get it internally cringed at this scene

What’s also crazy is that he didn’t try to go back to the store and reverse the wish until another girl that truly liked him got killed. Even before then, he was just trying to alter the wish, and not get rid of it all together.

Bear is just… terrible.

Nikki was the victim of a ''nice guy'' she thought she could trust.

33:23 while Ian is a shitty friend overall, I do appreciate that he is the one questioning Nikki's behavior after the wish, he calls out Bear for taking advantage of whatever Nikki was going through, and he is the only one to ask Nikki if she's ok, yelling at Bear for just sitting after she hurts herself.

just a fun fact: inde (nikki’s actress) did the initial scenes with bear twice, one where nikki had a feelings for bear and another where she didn’t. in the end they used scenes from both versions, so it makes perfect sense for you to not be able to decide whether she did or not and, as you guys said, the moment he makes the wish it doesn’t really matter anyway.

It's funny that he thinks he loves her but one of the first things she says in this movie is "I don't feel loved" and when she gives him a chance to say he loves her he chickens out. He never loved her, or never showed it, and he still did this to her.

My favorite part of the film was realizing why she walks backwards, she tried to attack Bear but Wish Nikki stopped her. That's why she's charging at him right after Wish Nikki says "don't be scared i'd never hurt you".
