"There are two tragedies in life: one is not getting what one wants and the other is getting it."
-Oscar Wilde

NO NO NO NO No no no don't do that!!
I thought we were having a nice reaction!!! 😭😭

LOL at Cassie completely forgetting that it's a horror movie at the start and thinking how cute Bear is lmao. I think we are in for a wild ride.

That actress did an amazing job in this.

Ian was giving Bear intentionally bad advice at the start because him and Nikki had been hooking up and he wanted to keep that going. Ian was being possessive of Nikki too, she was surrounded by bad friends.

So now you understand why the Genie in Aladdin stated:

“There are a few provisos, some agendas…. A couple of quid pro quos!”

"It's like freaky friday" 🤣 I am locked in😂

My favorite movie of 2026. I hope she gets an Oscar nod.

"This is kinda fun!"

The therapy ad before this reaction was kind of perfect. Lol

As soon as I joined this live, I knew how traumatized Cassie was going to be during this reaction

I knew this was coming but still went "oh no" when I saw the title.

Writer/Director Curry Barker plays the voice of the One Wish Willow customer service representative.

"So its a romance."
"No, its a love story."
"Isnt that the same thing?"

Thats not only a synopsis for the movie, its also the crux of the plot. Right to the end, Bear was trying to salvage this whole disaster in a way that let him keep the girl, no matter what it was doing to her.

Inde should win the Oscar !! and bravo for the independent film world , because that was simply one of the best movies ever made !!

The reason that the shopkeeper is acting so chill is that he wished to be free of his anxieties and be perfectly content with everything.

Oh poor Cassie you ain’t ready

Literally the most uncomfortable movie I've ever seen.  Damn good though.

I already know I'm gonna riot when Inde Navarette doesn't get nominated for any best acting awards.... 😔

I love that Nikki made a wish that Bear would love her the same as she loved him. Which ironically got him killed because he was just about to throw up the pills he had taken... Michael Johnstone (Bear) thought that him ODing was a redemption arc that his character didn't deserve... he told Curry and they filmed a last take that had him try and throw it up... great choice.

Also originally Nikki when coming back saw what had happened and shot herself in the head... in this case the studio asked to do an ending that she didn't do that which is the one that you see... and it turned out to be way more devastating.

Also Curry and Inde both confirmed that Bear did have a shot, if he had just been honest at the start. People get confused when Ian tells his Friendzone story but firstly, you can't trust anything Ian says... his motives are not pure and if you listen carefully to the dialog that is being said it shows that she was ready to give Bear a chance if only he had been courageous... but Bear f'd it up so Nikki being Nikki was done. Then the snap and boom...

Curry also confirmed that the wish is not Possession or Voodoo etc... it simply fulfills whatever is wished for and it takes the words completely literally... watching from this viewpoint... you can see "Wish Nikki" always trying to work out how to achieve that and trying one thing after another till they were 'in love' again. And yes Real Nikki was present "the whole time" in the back of her head she saw it all which is the true horror.

Curry Barker (Writer / Director / Editor) is a you tuber his channel is "That's a bad idea" He has amazing vision and excellent Directing and Editing capabilities. His actual script choices are incredible. His layered social commentary is amazing and so NOT Hollywood Push this in your face. True cinema. As you realised It is all about things that rarely get brought up... particularly SA, Co-dependency and all other types of abuse (from both sides) in disfunctional relationships neatly served up through a psychological horror lens..

This film made in 2024 shot in three weeks on a $750K budget to date has earned over $495M at the Box Office Worldwide...

Lastly brilliant reaction. I am sure that after watching this you slept like a baby...
