This movie was such a great time, lot of heart, cried a few times. the memory sequences were stunning, and I loved how each character had a different style when recounting the night. Definitely a lot to take in, but worthy of multiple rewatches. Also the Soundtrack alone was fantastic. I'm definitely gonna pick up a copy when it comes out.

This is the best for me. Original and with values.

The Lola was HILARIOUS!

Sequel for Manang or Prequel for Lola 🤔

Best to experience this movie in 4DX 💯

The movie was great. I hope it won't flop

YAAY I SUPER LOVED THIS FILM! The trailers are super misleading haha.

The folklore and creatures are real BUT they used a lot of creative freedom to design them and tell their stories. They are more terrifying in the tales that we know but what I love is wow what if our creatures were demonized during the Spanish and American colonization of the Philippines? Check out Kirby Araullo Filipino historian and cultural consultant in the movie. He has a great Youtube channel explaining the mythe and the creatures and what really is Filipino.

Thanks for the awesome review!

Excellent review. thanks

10/10 movie

Good movie ❤

Very anime influenced? I’m in

Agree, this is a movie that exhibits the animations skills of the DreamWork's team. They really did a great job in that area eventhough some of the older/matured uncool viewers said that it was overstimulating at times. However, the drawback though was the pace because it was so fast especially in the 2nd act. There are some killing your darling moments that would have been put to develop the character of Batiba & especially Manang who really needed a detailed back story like what you have said. Not all the jokes were landing as well due to how sporadic it was. But the film was fun, silly but with ❤️, @ErinCMorgan . It's so Gen Z-entric. But people were looking for an original film before. Now they get it, it seems nobody is interested in watching it. Maybe because it's based on other cultures that they don't know & have no interest in knowing. Or even don't like at all. I guess that's why it's doing bad at the box office. At least you have enjoyed it.

Unfair for Americans & Europeans if they will Not discover and watch #ForgottenIslands - it is BORDERLESS in wit, laughter & lessons! A story too of immigrants!#Criticallyacclaimed

I wish this film did better at the box office, i really liked it.

It represents the fact that Filipinos have opportunities abroad, which is why Ryza wants to go to America—this is the reality. Here in the Philippines, wages are low, and the government just steals the tax money.

Awful movie.

Its alright 3/5
