I forgot a scene! In a cut sequence, Lewis uses his memory machine on himself to finally see his mother. The screen shows a blurry figure walking closer, but Lewis stops the machine before her face is revealed, realizing he no longer needs to see her because he has found his family. What was your thoughts on the deleted content?

Also, yes, I said Bowler wrong multiple times LOL

One of my 3D animation teachers in college animated on this film back in the day. He told us how the creative team were frustrated with Joyce because they considered his character designs bland, or in my teachers specific words, "they sucked!" But Joyce appearently was very adamant, threatening to leave the project if they strayed too far from his original designs in the book.

I've always considered Meet the Robinsons the true underrated Tomorrowland movie. I'm glad how the movie turned out as redeemable Bowler Hat guy and Dorris just put a bow on the great heart of the movie

Meet the Robinsons was one of my favorite childhood movies

I thought for forever that Jim Carey did play the bowler hat guy lol the inspiration is very obvious

15:27 this reminds me of Dan Povemire voicing Doof

It's 'Bowler Hat Guy', you kept saying "Boiler Hat Guy".

3:02 I mean Ray Gunn was in development for 30 years and we are finally getting it this year and it looks amazing so far

I want to know what the original story was so bad

12:20 When Future Goob disappeared before this, it was pretty emotional man🤦🏽‍♂️

4:44 I wouldn’t go that far, there are stories that do have go into  adoption, but I do agree with you. That was a good choice to make that a huge focus on the story of this movie.

One of the most underrated films from Disney's experimental-era. It REALLY should be discussed more often. Thanks for this one. 😁❤️

Someone on Instagram had talked about Meet the Robinsons as well, so I should add some clarification: according to the director of Meet the Robinsons, Jim Carrey was written down as a potential candidate to voice Goob, but it never made it any further than that. So that listing claiming Jim Carrey was offered the role simply isn’t true. The director confirmed under an Instagram post discussing the movie that Jim Carrey was never actually offered the role his name was just written down as a potential candidate in a simple draft, and it never went any further than that.

Meet the Robinsons is sooo underrated, I was genuinely shocked that I passed by a video that talks about it!

Bowler Hat Guy + Snidley Whiplash = Waluigi!

14:43 You mean like the literal direct quote from Walt that appears on screen at the end? 😂 😘

If anything i appreciate the lesson on learning to live with failure and learning from it no matter how much you mess up follow your dreams and keep moving forward 😊😊❤❤

Glad to see you talking about Meet the Robinsons, that is my favorite Disney and is one of my Top favorite films of all time overall!

18:09 Warner Bros had a similar treatment to every animated film between The Iron Giant and Happy Feet.

If you notice in the room of Lewis' Failed Inventions, there are subtle Easter egg cameos referencing two of Disney's unproduced movies being My Peoples and Wild Life. My Peoples was about two star-crossed lovers and folk-art ghosts made of household items but the movie was scrapped in favor of Chicken Little due to the movie's more wider appeal and Wild Life was a satirical, adult-oriented CGI comedy about a pop-star elephant in Las Vegas but was cancelled because the humor and tone were considered too mature ("dirty") for the Walt Disney Animation Studios brand. As these films fell on the wayside, the animators and artists at Disney found a way to preserve these films memories in the cameo as a tribute to the work done by the artists before the projects were shut down.
