Happy Birthday!

I would like to thank you for sitting with me after a full hip replacement and SOBBING PAIN . It genuinely helped to soothe me❤

My all time favorite line is in this song
“if I claim to be a wise man, it surely means that I don’t know” I have always loved that line

Nailed it dude. A spiritual piece of music. Your philosophical insights and enthusiasm are what keep me coming back.

I commented on the "Dust in the Wind" reaction that this song would blow your mind and watching your mind get blown was cathartic!

It's fun watching you flip out to great music! Never stop, Biscuit!

Happy Birthday Mr Biscuit!   Kerry Livgren, the lead guitarist (long blond hair) wrote the song. He was going through a spiritual journey in his life at that time and ultimately found the Lord and became a Christian, and is to this day. This is one of my all time favorite songs ever. So glad we convinced you to react to it.

Point of Know Return is another great one by Kansas.

The Wall and Miracles out of nowhere!!!!both are heavy in their orchestral brilliance as well.

The redhead with the epic hair and beard's voice is heavenly. Those effortless highs that are just so sweet and pleasing match up so perfectly when they harmonize that it takes it to another level.
I always thought that he "Wayward Son"  was a reference to the Prodigal son going through his journey as we all do, making bad choices, learning, repenting, and becoming better and finally returning to his Father (The Lord) and being granted peace and entry to his Father's Kingdom.

Happy 40th Birthday!! Bright blessings for an incredible year ahead! ❤ this song makes me miss those crazy Winchester brothers

The only album I ever bought because of one song. I was 10 years old. It was my first album. Still have it.

Happy Birthday man!!! And 40 is not a big deal!

They don't make music like this anymore.  No computer, no autotune, just talent. Amazing talent.

I think when he talks about flying too high he is talking about the Greek myth about Icarus:

The story of Icarus is a Greek myth about a young man who, along with his father Daedalus, escapes from the island of Crete using wings made of feathers and wax. Ignoring his father's warnings, Icarus flies too close to the sun, causing the wax to melt, and he ultimately falls into the sea and drowns.

I feel like they're all dressed differently to show the world their individualism, but yet how well they fit together as a collective band.  Which highlights the idea of the song. They're all on their own journey, yet they all understand the joy of finding the peace at the end of it.

I loved this song as a kid in the 70's and 80's. Still do love it as a childhood memory in dozens of ways. Then I was thrilled when it was used in an episode of the TV show 'Supernatural'. After that it was used in every season opener for the show as well as the series finale. Now I associate it with both being a kid in that era AND as a staple of my favorite show.

Yay!! More Kansas please! You’ll love it!! Happy Birthday and God bless… from Texas!!

Happy Belated Birthday!!!! Kansas- The Wall is another banger...

Brilliant song. One of the top of all time!!

Happy Birthday! It’s your birthday, but you have given us the gift of your joyful experience reacting to this amazing ballad. I’ve been listening to this song since high school and it just keeps getting better.
