In this video, I head to Aldi with just £35 to buy a full week's worth of food that supports getting lean, building muscle and staying healthy.
I show you exactly what I buy, how I meal prep it, and why healthy eating doesn't need to cost a fortune.
One of the biggest mistakes people make is overcomplicating nutrition.
Start by working out your daily calorie target and your protein target.
Once you know how much protein you need each day, simply divide it across however many meals you enjoy eating.
Whether that's 3 meals, 4 meals or 5 meals doesn't matter, it's what you can consistently follow through with that does.
After protein is covered, use your remaining calories for carbohydrates and fats.
Carbohydrates provide your body with energy for training, daily activity and recovery.
Dietary fats support hormone production, brain function, absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E & K) and overall health.
Hit your calories, hit your protein, include enough healthy fats, then fill the rest with carbs to fuel performance. Keep it simple.
