Cinna knew he signed his death warrant when he made that dress. You see it in the way he nods.

It's crazy how Peeta going last and katniss unaware of the plans made, it made her look stronger for not mentioning a pregnancy and still ready to fight, they planned so deep to make her the Mockingjay

I really love and even relate to Johanna. Shes a hot head who assumes the worst of people, like mocking Katniss for a dress she sees as a tacky power move. But when she finds out that its actually Snow tormenting Katniss, Johanna quickly turns and supports her. Shes a good person at heart imo. Just a heavily guarded person

Beedee just saying "well you guys can just cancel the Games right now" is so underrated

Never fully realized the genius behind Finnick’s poem. Not only is it a way to gain sympathy from the Capitol, but also to genuinely confess to Annie should he die in the actual games

Everyone’s talking about the baby bomb but I’m here sad all over again when Cinna said “I’m done” he knew Snow was gnna kill him for the dress :(

These victors are angry, Johanna summed it up, they fought for their lives to survive, now they want to kill them again.

This was the huge flaw in Snow’s plan. Haymitch said it. Most of them had been friends for years. That kind of trauma and suffering, creates unbreakable solidarity. A lot of them were still going to fight for their lives and kill which is understandable. But most of them were fed up, angry, and trying to find ways to bring Snow and the games down. And he just turned them all into collateral damage. He gave them the perfect opportunity to band together because they had nothing left to lose.

8:14 “By the time the anthem plays its final strains all 24 of us stand in one unbroken line in what must be the first public show of unity among the districts since the dark days.”

Peeta's face after "If it weren't for the baby" is everything 🤣

I love how EVERYONE is taking shots at President Snow; the biggest difference is the amount of subtlety each one gives.

Peeta probably came the closest to actually getting the games to stop.

Johanna’s crash out as so valid

Funny thing is whoever turned off the light only made the union of the districts more visible.

Johanna's rant is one of the best changes made from the book to the movie. Iconic af

7:13 Katniss’s face is like “he’s gonna say something weird again like last time.”

Ceaser’s face when Johanna is swearing is always hilarious

I love watching Effie's slow deprogramming. In the first movie, she believed all the capitals bs, that the hunger games was an honor and making these kids famous a kindness. Then Katniss and Peta win, and she gets to see them as more than tributes. She had never become friends with the tributes before because why would you connect with someone who was bound to die? But when they were "safe," she allowed herself to hope and dream for them, allowed herself to imagine the value of their lives. This scene is the climax of that, her genuine anger in realizing the two kids she's grown to love, who she thought would have long, happy lives are likely going to die.

I don't know if anyone caught Cinna's "I guess I'm done"...because I think he knows what Snow's going to do to him after this.

Bro  caesar was hanging on for dear life 😭
