The most saddest part is when you mentioned the West Carribbean jet captain liking the cup cake.

Peter: The CRJ was built in 2003.
Me: Oh, that's pretty new.
Peter: And was about 21 years old.
Me: NUH-UH YOU TAKE THAT BACK! IT WAS JUST A BABY PLANE! 2003 WAS JUST A FEW YEARS AGO!!
🤣🤣🤣

These are the situations that haunt me when I think of flying: a crew that is negligent, oblivious, unaware, or untrained.

OMG you did the Cotonou's Christmas crash... I'm from Benin, this truly traumatized us here. For us that were old enough, we still remember it every time we pass in front of the wall, 23 years later

10 seconds in and he has already said "dropping" and "from the sky" in one sentence ... where can this go?

When I flew to Nepal in the 90's only royal Nepalese airways were allowed to operate due to the complexity of operations

I was an Army Ranger back in the ‘80s, and always was fascinated with flying, even in the back.

Surviving a fatal accident that had been caused by yourself must be the hardest thing of it all. 🙏

I remember the UTA crash, it was very apalling but also the rumors that the accident a/c was the mysterious "stolen" 727 that disappeared from Angola in 2003.

Good evening Petter... Its 1.07am here in Yorkshire, England and I've just boarded this long haul journey with you, Captain 🫡
I thank you muchly for this, and all, your videos. I really enjoy them and your content is getting me through some tough times!
The way you explain things so we are able to understand complex engineering and mechanics means that, thanks to you, we are able to see 'behind the curtain' and beyond the cockpit door!!

Thank you so much Petter for your hard work and dedication 🫶🏻
We salute you, Captain 🫡🫡🫡

Unbelievable that the UTA flight was accepted by the UAE authorities to operate into their busy international hub at Dubai.
