LANTERNS Episode 6 Breakdown, Review & Ending Explained! - I review and breakdown Lanterns Episode 6 on HBO and MAX. In this Lanterns Episode 6 breakdown and ending explained, we dive into the story now moving into the 2026 timeline as John Stewart investigates the mysterious death of Hal Jordan alongside Sheriff Kerry. We'll break down John's investigation, Guy Gardner's role, Hal Jordan's funeral, Carol Ferris, and what really happened to Hal. We'll also dive into Noah Macon and whether he could be connected to Zoe's larger plan involving the Manhunters. Is Noah actually responsible for Hal Jordan's death? Plus we'll discuss the DCU Batman reference, Sinestro's escape from prison, and John Stewart obtaining Hal Jordan's ring from Guy Gardner and the Guardians of the Universe. And what exactly is inside Hal Jordan's vault, could Halogram hold the answers? We’ll also explore Lanterns theories, the connection between Noah Macon and the Manhunters, Green Lantern comic book connections, Easter eggs, DCU connections, and what Episode 6 could be setting up for Lanterns Episode 7. The new DCU series introduces Hal Jordan and John Stewart as they investigate a dark mystery in Rushville that could have major implications for the future of the DC Universe. Let me know your theories about Zoe, the Manhunter, Hal Jordan’s fate, and what you think will happen in Lanterns Episode 7! "i hope i mattered" and its arguably the three people in which Hal actually did mattered to in their own ways. It was such a gut punch of a line but rewatching it again and it's almost like perfect commentary. Hal was expecting a more "superficial" crowd at his funeral but what actually ended up happening was only three people who can say Hal himself mattered not just Green Lantern. (Another great breakdown Boba! the Noah theory has a chokehold on me lol)

Seeing Carol in this episode got me hyped for an animated Hal Jordan prequel series so we can get to see those 30 years and see him in his prime with sinestro.

the damage to the the brand is also a reference to 2011 gl movie

I think Hal left a spare power battery in that box in the storage unit. Also Guy’s comment about the suit not being John’s size made me wonder if he actually will manifest his own suit for MOT

@mattmorse4524 10 days ago

John could know who Carol is cause she’s also usually a CEO of a large airline company. It’s like recognizing any other billionaire

I think in the DCU Hal is one of the first heroes to ever make a public appearance so it would make sense why no other heroes are there to mourn him. Which makes it tragic that he never met Clark who would’ve reminded him of his youth.

Hal told John not to tell anyone because he didn't want the one he's hunting to know that he and John had talked. If the target knew that John had talked to Jordan, John would be in danger.

I could also see the cafe girl being the killer. She's obviously got a grudge against Hal and John so she set all this up to both get revenge on Hal and blackmail John.

John is going to use Halogram to get into the safe.

What a crazy episode I feel like something was going on with Jordan. He was scared at the diner with Jon, especially when he told John not to let anyone know that he was in town and the shotgun pointed that it front door that’s fear so I have a couple theories, I think that he found a way to make a dead body look like him and he possibly is the one that broke out his old mentor.

Another thought: What if Kane shot Hal because he was onto Noah? She really loved Hal, but had to kill him because it was between him or her son. That would explain the genuine tears that Stewart was talking about her not faking. Also, it IS Noah walking in that room. Even the belt buckle is the same.

This was a wild episode.And Nathan Fillian's Guy Gardner continues to be the highlight in Superman and in this show.I hope we get to see more of him in other DCU projects.

I love how Aaron Pierre is really evolving John to be more of his own person. He feels more loose, more sure of himself and is just starting to stretch his wings. Good stuff. I can't wait for the next one

I'm very excited for all of us to watch the final Episodes of Lanterns!!! 😀💚

I think in a previous trailer where guy tells John that they’re coming for him, he’s talking about the guardians and the corps. We can assume that John will have Halogram open the vault and recharge the ring with the battery. In doing so, he’ll unknowingly alert the guardians and they’ll come for him after taking the ring

@kevz2474 10 days ago (edited)

Yea, Noah isn't fooling me. He's a manhunter or a manhunter/human hybrid.

@Redis2toxic 10 days ago (edited)

Kerry is always saying how do you know it’s not me , but then she knew about Zoey and lied the whole time, she said it again this episode she def lying

@b713marie3 10 days ago

On the ring charge and the Halogram - I wonder if, like the bird, John can keep the Halogram going without the ring or the charge?

@MarcoAspaas 10 days ago

I agree about Noah, and it's not just the cuffs of the coat or belt, but also the boots and there's also a shot in the scene he drops off the suit to John and he's walking away, you can see the similarities of their build when comparing his lower half we see in the scene that Hal asks him the question.

@Ken_Grey 10 days ago

I knew that Guy didn't have Hal's ring. Next episode guess: That Halogram will be able to activate that box in the storage unit which has a portal to the dark world we saw in the previews.
