Pennywise is back on our screens, this time in "IT: Welcome to Derry", the prequel series that promises to explore the dancing clown's origin story, while wreaking further havoc on the population of Derry, Maine. But is this genuinely worth the trouble, or is HBO Max trying to squeeze as much out of this IP as possible? Episodes 1 and 2 are out and, well...

FINISH REVIEWING THE SEEEERRRIIEEES

I have to say, I often wish people involved in the projects you review would see your feedback cause you’re something else. 👏🏾

I'm loving this series too, especially how it's taking lore from the book/movies and expanding on it. Like how Derry people are essentially cattle being bred by It, and nobody local sees how messed up their town is, and no one is allowed to leave.

Jokes aside part of me was like those kids are "fuuuuuucked" from the conception of the show because the Losers were the ones got away...
Tho i didn't think they go.out SO fast 😂

I hope one day you comeback to this and finish reviewing the series if your comfortable with it

The kids aren't having "nightmares." They are a projection of reality from Pennywise. Very, very real to the children. Almost unseeable by the adults. Thus, you get Bev covered in blood and no one but the kids can see it. He can and is trying to kill the kids during some of these instances. In others, he is just trying to scare them because he really feeds on the fear and the fear also marinates the kids. I agree though, so far the show is delivering on something cool.

I sleep with my head covered, and when I saw that scene I thought, Oh great new fear unlocked 😂😂

I just love your reviews!

I'm not used to commenting on yt videos, but I wanted to say I'd love it if you did a more in-depth analysis every 2 episodes, like you did this one.

You are my favourite content creator here. And from one stutterer to another, thank you for being so smart and funny and weird ✨️

I think I can speak for a lot of us that tuned in that are big fans of the source material that we knew it was gonna be “f them kids: the show” but we thought we were at least gonna have and episode and a half before it hit lol. The end of the first episode everyone I knew was gagged

Watched this with a friend with very low expectations, was pleasantly surprised by how original and genuinely entertaining it was. Excited for more.

Ohh please cover the episodes in batches of two! I cannot watch horror for the life of me bc it fucks me up badly (yes even the ridiculous over the top horror 😭) but I do enjoy hearing about it from other people! xD Thank you for subjecting yourself to this and then talking about it so wimpy people like me can also enjoy it from a very safe distance 😂
