This is Miracleman by Alan Moore, a book that completely changed what people thought comics could be. It took bright, simple superheroes and asked one question nobody wanted to answer. What would actually happen if someone like this existed?

I remember how controversial Alan Moore's Miracleman was when first released..
IMO Moore's Miracleman & Watchmen were the beginning of the "DECONSTRUCTION" of superheroes that's been going on to this day..

I heard of Miracle Man from middle school 15 years old, but I never knew of the controversy surrounding it until now obviously.

“It’s not my child, it’s the child of me when I’m drunk.” Regardless, he should have bought earplugs.

Isn’t it a bit strange that Alan Moore with both this & Watchman, despite the dark content in the body of the work, still gives a very strange kind of “good ending.” A more cynical man would make it a tragedy till the end.

So basically all we need for communism to work is multiple Supermen, highly advanced and friendly alien allies, and a bunch of miracle "do anything" drugs. That's not too bad
