Someone actually did find the Jokerized Penguin model in the game. I made a short addressing it.

Growing up I realized Batman was an afterthought to the villains n was mostly focused on killing each other with only rlly joker worried about him

Two Face choosing not to extend into the church area makes sense to me, as I think the good part of him that values fairness would want to leave the medical area neutral so that anyone can access it.

To quote another comment on a different video about this topic.
"Riddler could've easily won the gang war if it weren't for his obsession with Batman"

I always admire the fearlessness of the people who choose to work for the Joker, because he's one of the only gang leaders where you're just not even guaranteed safety from them WHILE working for them

The whole "insecurity" thesis is actually super interesting and not a view I've seen on this game before. I think you explained really well why this seemingly non important background story is part of what makes Arkham city such a timeless masterpiece. great vid

I guess the real gang war is the friends we made along the way.

Excellently constructed video dude, especially with the free cam shots with the overlayed dialogue

Great video to watch as I go to bed. Love this game and the world building it has

An interesting thing I thought of when I thought about the war is that Harvey pushing into the Bowery after Penguin, which ultimately wins him the war, that's not really his choice. When he got out from the courtroom he needed to make a move, Batman gave him a black eye, he was already on the backfoot he needed to do some kind of power play or lose what's left of his crew. And by that time Penguin had blown the bridges isolating Joker, but also meaning however Dent might have felt about who was the better target before, now the Bowery was his only option. This means one of two things; either Penguin planned it all out, so that his subway assault would take Joker's forces out while his defences on the outskirts of the Bowery break what's left of Harvey's crew, or Penguin thought so little of Dent that he didn't even consider that he was cornering Dent, only for Batman's actions to leave a hole in his defences that allowed the underdog to come in and take Penguin's base.

We can also likely dissect Joker's victory in the timeline where Batman doesn't stop Strange. As you note, plenty of Joker's forces retreat into the sewers where, to wipe them out, Tyger would have to try and break in directly, and that'd create a chokepoint that Joker's forces could wipe out, while Joker was securing the Lazarus Pit. Further, if we assume most of Harley's equipment from Harley Quinn's Revenge was already stuff Joker had that he didn't have a chance to use before the theatre confrontation, so Joker had his hands on the Wonder City guardian robots and possibly another dose of TITAN (it's unclear if the Harley TITAN is the Joker TITAN in a new uniform or if they're two different people), heck if he kept some of the cure he might have used the dose himself.

29:00 How have I never noticed that before? That’s why this game is one of my favorites. The amount of detail Rocksteady put into it always surprises me.

Silly Cobblepot, penguins can't fly!

My favorite vid of the gang war so far and especially how we got close up shots of whats happening in game, well done! 👌🏻

Bro this is some to tier video. Love it. Makes wanna go back to Arkham city and really but attention to the brackgeound changes

I’ve seen two other videos on the gang war in Arkham city and I think this is the best one.

Technically, two face owns Arkham city because he can take over joker and penguin and then strange dies

Hey man, this is a great video! I listened to it while at work, and it didn't even occur to me that this video had such few views from a channel so small!!! This was really well put together and it flowed really well, everything made sense, and I think you're criminally underrated.

I’ve waited for something like this for so long, I’m gonna watch it with my brother

How did Penguin manage to come back for Arkham Knight after getting STEAMROLLED like this?

There was this one youtuber who teased the idea of the villain "White Shark" leading or gang to kidnap Nora to take revenge on Mr. Freeze.

Maybe create a short video on how White Shark would hypothetically do in this gang war, starting from there.
