Elspeth is easily the strongest LL in the Empire; the Gunnery School upgrades are simply THAT powerful

Vlad being really close to Mordheim and the massive buff you get from the item from the special temple has to buff his rank quite a bit here.

Also on a side note the AI seems much better now. Like the rats I was fighting the first 30 turns were making multiple armies and splitting up and attacking multiple of my settlements and reinforcing each other as needed etc. seemed the same in combat but on the campaign map they are definitely doing much better than a few months ago when I played last

I don't think people realize how insanely op toddy is. You know how most factions that can reset the movement of 1 character/army every 8-10 turns? Ye, toddy hasn't heard about it and you can reset the movement of every single army every 3 turns, plus the new lords can get 100% of their movement refunded after a winning a battle. Sure Elspeth might have really strong guns and Gelt might have wizard spam but with Toddy's insane movement range means that as long as you are willing to fight the battles manually you're just playing the strongest Khorne campaign out there.

I have been surprised by Toddy's campaign. His buffs to melee and the cult of ulric buffs... He makes all melee infantry pretty nutty. Basic units with 50+ damage, 50+ MA and 60+ defense... It is honestly too easy! Reminds me of the Mr. Hobo, Kostaltyn, and his buffs he can give Kislevite Warriors and Kossars where they can get 50+ attack and defense... But they are limited roles, where Toddy makes everyone nutty and increases damage!

I would love to have a conversation about Nagash. cause I fully understand the economy being a little weird but I did notice that hero’s that unlock unit caps through their skill lines do count which kind of takes care of the NE and unit caps to an extent. They also involve monuments as well and that helps. One problem I have is that sigils tend to disappear without me knowing why or which ones deactivated

Toddy was a fantastic campaign! You really feel like a shield of the empire.

Currently doing a Thanquol campaign and just stomping. Fun but not very challenging.

The movement speed of Todbringers armies makes his a much more powerful faction to play as IMO.

Toddy is the new Taurox? I just not run out of movement points, even after i capture a settlement what is hilarious.

i want a dark elf dlc!!

Gelt is a much better "starter" campaign than Franz for immortal empires. Franz is very generalized because he is good at everything but that can become overwhelming if you are new, not to mention his starting location has a bunch of hostile legendary lords and by turn 30 new people can be overwhelmed pretty easy.
Gelt gives a safer location and something specific you can "focus" on which as far as specifics mechanics mages are pretty important in almost every campaign so that's a good on to get your hands on first. Plus you still get most of the general stuff of the empire anyways, it's just not as front and center so people can learn at their own pace

I played nagash first and i have an unpopular opinion about him. He is amazing. Nagash can defeat entire armys alone early in the game, wich makes him realy strong. In the late game with enough buffs and rescources i have graveguard with 60+ basic attack and ushapti with 140 Armor. he has so many stackable buffs. The ealy game is very tuff but the middle and late game is awesome

I'm having a blast with Toddy. With all the buffs he gives to T guard it makes them the Empires version of Chosen.  Demons, undead, monsters, they don't give a shit about any of it. I can run melee/cav only armies now without having to babysit ranged/arty units. I just slapped Vlad in the face in a slug fest and sent his ass packing to Sylvania.
The only downside is I'll never have a desire to play Volkmar ever again lol.

I would like to hear you opinion on my balance changes to Nagesh:

1. Make all spear units infinite like normal sword variants. It's weirdly limiting and uncomfortable, since they are not an elite or powerful units that would drastically increase the power, just less tedious.

2. make available to recruit the pirate coast units from the Necropolis. Since you are able to recruit units from both the tomb kings and vampires counts, why not vampire coast?

At least in the early game if you decide to go after the Settra, you will not so easily get the opportunity to recruit them -- it's once again pointless army building restriction.

3. The one slot settlements are shit, in all campaigns It has never been fun. It just objectively fucking sucks ass everywhere. Make it at least 2, I don't think 4 is necessary and would probably be redundant and too strong overall.  3  just seens like a weird number therefore I think 2 is the most obvious answer.

4. The economy buildings are too weak, you could double it and it still would be fine ( certainly for the small settlemens, not exactly sure for Necropolis settlements ).

While I am certainly less certain here on the implementation it still important.

For the record this doubling of income also should apply only to necromantic energy buildings, the rewards from battle are... from my experience perfectly reasonable in the early game IF you don't upgrade your unit capacity / or minimaly  and don't recruit them using the other method of recruiting.

So you could increase the amount by some, but I am not certain by how much really. I believe that 50% would be the absolute limit of what you could reasonably increase it by. But I could also be totally wrong.

For the record the 4. change without the 3. change would be much less impactful.

5. Increase the starting number of slots for available Necropolis cities by 1 or 2.

Ps: these changes are from a moderately skilled player. Probably around average skill level with much higher tendency be obsessed with income.

I also don't use and abuse mechanics like region trading and other such shenanigans. Although I still normally use diplomacy and other.

My first run has been with neferata and the first 20 turns was me declaring war on the skavens around crookback ridge and they had 3 armies attacking my settlements separately and they had just a little more range than me so I couldn't catch them lol. I just made sure I held my main 2 and kept repairing the other 2 as they got attacked. In the meantime I was cooking a blood dragon lord. Once I caught 1 of the armies my dude was ready and he came out empowered as fuck at rank 32 lol. Mind you my neferata was only rank10 so I proceeded to get his army together and absolutely smashed those rats. Once I secured all their settlements and accepted their peace offer because I was tired of fooling with them I gifted one of the  town to grimgor and now I'm in alliance with da boss 😂. When I get home me and green daddy are gonna take back my beloved dessert and put bone daddy back in the dirt. Also the handmaidens are absolutely cracked. I had 2 units of them and between them they had 1200 kills mostly stormvermins. My blood dragon riding his zombie dragon got 600 kills and I swear I was able to use wind of death like 20 times somehow. He was surrounded the entire match and barely lost 10% hp. I love this run and can't wait to try the others out

Toddy is great just because he’ll make life as Franz easier.

Really dissapointed at CA for releasing the dlc riddled with bugs.  Community was rooting for them

You should tone down the sound of the game. The cinematic on repeat can be bothering

Nagash number 1 in the Undead Legion. SUCH IS THE POWER OF NAGASH

If they buff Nagash’s economy…I will give him another go. My first campaign I got short campaign victory, took the entire southern region of the continent, and had a grand total of 4 armies…2 of which were not full stacks…at turn 60 there’s no excuse for that. I was also very frustrated by yet another unit cap mechanic that nobody wanted. Holding that much territory and having barely enough money to field 4 armies is absolutely ridiculous. Each region gives only 100 gold…some high tier units have a 500 gold upkeep…so the earnings from an entire province pays for 1 top end unit? Sorry but that’s just dumb

Yes I know you can use the trade settlement exploit…but I hate relying on a full blown exploit to have enough money to enjoy a campaign. I wanted NAGASH…leader of an army of the undead that stretched to the horizon…my vision was having 3 dedicated war fronts. A Vampire counts front, a tomb kings front, and a vampire front…all lead by legendary lords(similar to how I play Arch)…instead I just relied heavily on his personal power, with his few armies just struggling to defend his territory.

Definitely another example of CA not understanding that we don’t like campaigns like this
