Another great general idea for Nagash is to focus on construction cost reduction, because it not only reduces the cost of buildings in terms of money, but also necromantic energy. You get a ton of hero capacity as Nagash, so spamming necrotects in particular can be very effective as they also raise unit caps for constructs without you having to pay necromantic energy for them as well with their traits and skills.

You could help Arkan build his empire, ally or vasalise him, then take him and after that reset his points and after 4 turns he is back.

Teleportation mechanics in recent dlcs have made me spoiled. I would love to have more of those with Nagash

I have done a few restarts on nagash in a very hard campaign and have gotten a pretty good flow for his early game. My first 10 turns look something like this:
Turn 1: kill the generic TK army in my starting region then start marching towards khemri and recruit units to fill out the ranks.
Turn 2: finishing maxing out the army and recruit a vampire lord for numbers sake.
Turn 3: have the generic VC faction pay me to declare war on Settra (you do not want Settra getting on his sphinx mount and still having his starting one) and park Nagash outside khemri in channeling stance with the vampire lord. Over the end turn Settra will attack. Put your army as far back on the map as possible and let horse Settra and his sphinx charge ahead of their army. Let Nagash and your hero duel the sphinx and settra duel Settra and the Sphinx while your hand gunners fire into them. Be careful of the ushabti summon the ai loves to drop them on your starting mortar or hand gunners keep an eye out to tell them to run
Turn 4: Take khemri relegating Settra to generic tier 1 - 2 TK units
Turn 5: Turn around and go back to the black pyramid to defend it from the generic TK army that has been building up while you were busy with Settra. With luck the generic VC faction will finish Settra for you but that has been 50/50 for me.
Turn 6-10: If the VC didn't finish Settra turn back around and finish him in the next 3 turns, DO NOT form any treaties with them you'll want them out soon enough. If the VC did their one and only job keep marching towards the tower of Arkahn and use the vision it gives to plan out who to go after next. If Arkahn is beating Repanse (her defeat trait is worthless to you since you don't have growth or a normal research tree) do not confederate right away let him keep doing good work and turn your attention to Volkmar. If Arkahn screwed up then you want to confederate and deal with Repanse and then get the generic factions out of that flank of the map before dealing with Volkmar. I like selling Volkmar's starting minor provinces to Manfred to cement him as south eastern ally while I deal with Skarbrand and Malagor.
Also be sure to turn the wizard caliph's palace into a necoroplis it let's you devastate the entire region of the map allowing you to raise your necropolis cap.

Man Arkhan died and lost his army and book in my run so currently I gotta run and get book one eventually cause it's sitting on a tier 4 free army, so I guess I'll go look for other books 😅

Can you do Settra one or Manfred? Or the badlands characters?

ナガッシュをひたすら進撃させ、略奪スタイルで楽しむのも楽しいです　ロングの勝利条件に必要な地域は黒のピラミッドとナガッシュザールだけ、という点がこれを際立たせています

From experience, always keep an army ready to react to attacks from the seas. The High Elves, Oxyotl, Rogue Armies, shit even Aranesa wants to try you at some point.

nagash should honestly get the skaven tier 5 tech city  mechanic in 4 turns , tthat would make him very balanced and playable :->

Tbh souls come quick with battles, but i feel im struggling to field multiple armies 😅. Whats best way to get his economy broken for dark magika?

Not sure if they fixed it, but teleporting to Nagashizar was screwing up your black pyramid glyphs by removing Nagash from the game for 2 turns. Was really screwing things up for me in my campaign when I tried to use it.

Edit: I can confirm I just tried to use the portal from Nagashizar back to the black pyramid in the late game and I lost 45 sigils as soon as Nagash stepped inside. So once he comes back I would then have to put all the sigils back into the pyramid, assuming I remember what I had chosen. So I wouldn't use the portal, unless I'm the only one seeing this bug due to it being a conflict with a mod or something. Shouldn't be as I only have like 5 mods, so seems like a legit bug. Be warned.

I don’t know why you went to war with Arkan because you get a ton of sigils by confederation

You can turn characters like Arkhan into your vassal extremely easily, extremely early on, so fighting him is a waste of time. Grab one settlement from Repanse, let him do the rest of the work, and then sell the settlement to him. He will become your vassal and give you all the money he has. Like he gave me 15k souls on thrn 10 for a random mausoleum in a province he mostly owned.

You can do the same to everyone. I think the AI treats those trash mausoleums, pirate ports, and whatever the tomb king one was as a tier 5 settlement? I had Mannfred, Khalida, Vlad, and Arkhan as vassals on my first try, but I restarted that campaign because I made so many early errors. Like I had no idea what Land of the Dead was until then 20, and because I didn't fight Mannfred, he became impossible to turn into a mortarch.

Don't fight Arkhan, just vassalise him before confederating him at your leisure. Fight Mannfred so you can actually confederate him. Hire an army to stand next to the orge camp so they won't attack you. Have an army south of where Volkmar was, so you can have an army ready just in case the lizardmen attack you, and then you can slap Mannfred around.

i dont understand why everyone puts his second necropolis in black tower of arkhan, is not very efficient

Turn 10 i just solo with nagasgh hes op in a non game breaking it as the sametime

The chaos faction AI is broken, they are passive and don't recruit. We need a hotfix ASAP.

My issue is that when I subjugate arkhan it ruins my income and sinks me in the whole by almost double and at the start it's becomes brutal mind you I'm still sort of a noob I only got like 400 hours in the game so any advice is welcomed

I kind of disagree with immediately confederating Arkhan. In 2/3 of my Nagash play through, he’s consistently wiped out all the other factions in Araby while I focus on Setra and other northern threats (Be in Clan Skyre or Skragg). Personally I think it’s better to let Arkhan do his thing. Although with that being said you do lose the ability to choose his progression but that’s a small price to pay for allowing me to Blitz Volkmar and build up strength for Setra.

I actually refuse to accept money when trading settlements as negash. Clearly a bug. Tbe problem is his economy is gawdawful.

I mean im getting 500-800 necro Energy per turn fairly quickly. I got Lords all over my empire, then im spawning in 3 full armies when im attacked and delete them Afterwards so i dont have to pay the upkeep.

Before going to war with someone, trade your settlement and Go through all of their settlements once and circle back. That leaves all settlements that got traded without a Garrison and a single Lord can Take the settlement. Just prepare a Lord near each enemy City before declaring war. Then you can Take over all cities in one Turn, while nagash eradicates the Army.

You can Park nagash near Repanse Turn 4 while she gets sieged. Befriend the one sieging Her and declare war on Repanse. Repanse will Attack him and you get into the Fight as reinforcements. Use your Ally as meatshield and you can easily kill her with minimal losses. So between Turn 4 and 5 Repanse is gone, Most of her Army as well. Turn 5 you confederate arkhan who has an Army that is rdy to Take a City on Turn 6. He will Finish of Repanse, while nagash goes from al haikk and gets rid of the bretonnian faction with 1 settlement and then disposes of the dwarfes. To make it easier trade the settlement with the dwarfes before declaring war. Before Turn 10 your whole left Side except the ogres is yours. 10-11 settlements on Turn 7
