Niiiiiice, I certainly won't be abusing this immediately in my Neferata campaign ;) much obliged, Costin!!

They should make it so this works with skaven undercities and cults. If a city gets abandoned, not razed then the vampires or skaven or whatever else come from under the ground and claim the city.

This happened to me with Vlad and Izzy. I had not vassalized anyone and only researched 4 vampire techs and I could confer them bcz I had a coven under Drakenhof.

I noticed you can also just give any faction a single random settlement and just vassalize them outright. Skaven, Dwarves, Orcs, Empire and Cathay all simping for the vamp baddie so hard they'll take a random settlement even if the balance of power bar is in their favor and join the same team

Oh, when I read broken I thought the issue with Vampire Covens bug where estabilishing one sometimes crashes the game or the issue where quests arent properly showing and the requirements for Final Battle are unknown, which makes long victory campaign unwinable...

happned to me with Vlad earlier, thought maybe the patch today had messed up my save but I guess not.

Thanks, need to try it before they fix it <3

I dont know if this is a game wide issue. But in my neferata campaign. I can trade a steelment to anyone no matter how powerful and in retirn they will accept vassilsation. Pretty game breaking

Interesting. I just started a campaign and I was annoyed at the confed requirements. It's great you get the lord, but lose everything they have!? Only seems useful to resurrect a dead faction lord. I don't play a ton of tww3 so I haven't run into confed problems with power creep, actually, the opposite, I find much weaker factions still won't confed with me. I might give this a try and see how it goes. This gives a little meaning for the tech that reduces confed cost though.

I don’t know if you want to cover it but selling settlements is even more OP than before.

I was able to vassalise the #3 faction by selling them a single settlement I took from the rats.

I decided not to abuse it but it’s possibly hundreds of thousands of gold (or souls or whatever) just for giving back the mountains to the dwarfs, plus a load of powerful vassals.

Best campaign ive had since warhammer 2. playing my second neferata campaign now back to back :)

In my experiment of this 9.0 ver, The Red Duke can't even live longer 15 turnT_T

You forgot to mention that you won't get quest items from confederated lords

You get Red Duke from research tho

I had a coven in tempkehof yet it took more time to confederate Vlad.  Maybe it was blood requirement I was missing. Not sure.

recruit a level 30 vampire lord on turn 15 is not broken? as vampire cuncil

ya that happened to me to :)  just dont put  a cov in   the black pyramid it seems to crash the game

I dont like the new confederation requirements and hope the coven situation gets fixed. I'm not sure I even want to recruit other legendary lords when I can just use the bloodline ones, putting all these restrictions in the way makes the juice not worth the squeeze.

I think the teleporting lord situation is fine as you can already do that with the vampire covens and its cool and fun.

I wish the ui and legendary equipment bugs are fixed.

Is it bugged? Yes. Is it broken? No. More legendary lords is fun but getting them early is a detriment. You could awaken a level 34 lahmian vampire with a dragon, or a buffed up strigoi king at the same level, and those are naaaaasty lords. Meanwhile if you get the legendary lords early you will get them low level with no items, and it will cost you a fair amount of deception, and you will find yourself with settlements you can defend and will lose the covens. Besides, kemler and mannfred are quite far away, and both vlad and the ghorst are useful, securing your flanks. From a power perspective there is little interest in getting them early, and by the time you can easily afford them, you don't really need them. So, bugged, not broken.

Hopefully they they don’t fix this, at least until they change the dumb requirements for the confederation
