This is THE mod for WH3. I love what Chaos Robbie has done with the map. A true fantasy come true.
What would be mental would be for him to modify the landmasses of Naggarond, Lustria, Estalia, Bretonnia and Kislev to add more space. They are all a bit cramped.

I remember doing a playthrough of this mod when tides of torment came out, it really made Dechala’s campaign feel way more open. I think I remember Nippon was only like 3 or 4 settlements at the time. Been waiting for this mod to update so I can do a true world domination as Nagash 💀

Huge props to the modding community ❤

Those bastards who run the empire expanded mod really had to shit in my corn flakes.

Lords of the end times drops on my first day off. Wooooo.

They didn't update the mod until the day I had to go back😂

All seriousness those guys are legends.

I now understand why my Wizard Caliph campaign had to be restarted. Bit of a shame but the map update seems so worthwhile.

Man this vid just makes me more excited for both Nippon Mods. Thanks Zousan and Urgat, also I was shocked to see that the Nippon map also has Kofun tombs and one of the islands. Most people don’t know about those, so major props to the map maker for actually knowing very deep history. Also, it looks like the Khosun peninsula (called Ihan in IEE) got a pretty major update as well, the geography looks completely different, that’s something that was not mentioned in the video. For those that don’t know Khosun was apparently the name that GW stealth edited into a map of fantasy somewhere, to give to that Korean Peninsula-like landmass east of Cathay. Really glad to see the east getting fleshed out map-wise. And I am still hyped for both Urgat and Zousan’s different Nippon mods. I also hope to see the absolute chad badasses in the Modding communities take cracks at Ind, Khuresh, and maybe even Khosun too. This is finally shaping up to be what the game always should have been, and a big part of it is thanks too Modders

Nippon seems like one of those things CA should be seriously considering. We don't know much about it in WH fantasy, and just like Cathay its a phenomenal place to try out things and flesh it out in a number of ways. I think it would do really well and make a lot of money too if its properly given time.

Nippon looks awesome right now. I might give the alternate Mannfred start a try just to be able to head that way.

Big thanks for the modders!

A Nippon Mod coming up sounds great. I just hope they "warhammerify" it so it fits the setting. I'd love to see them be more of a neutral faction in the sense that yes, they are humans but care first and foremost about expanding. A proper upcoming invasion of Khuresh and Cathay would have made that region more interesting for sure.
Immortal empires expanded has been missed :-)

The old world mod and SFO mod combined makes everything so warhammery, I am so excited for them to come out with the updated mods

@xHarra81x 1 day ago

Need to wait for the update for the old world mod. I hope chaos invasion works with. Karl Franz needs some chaos hammering

I really love the map expansions here, Nippon, Khosun, and The Great Steppe all look so amazing and makes playing in the eastern part of the world very enjoyable with all the space that opened up. I love what Chaos Robbie has done with this mod and I'm glad he's still updating it to this day.

@wintersking4290 2 days ago

It adds in more wood elf forests too, in case you want them, and there's a tie in mod that adds more (16) legendary lords to the new regions.

I cannot play the game without this mod, just feels like the game as it should be.

@andarara-c1p 2 days ago

Agggh. I thought CA actually officially expanded the map to Nippon!!

@silas777777 2 days ago

I absolutely love this mod!

When I am not playing vanilla, this is a must-have for me. I hope that we will have this map fully in vanilla. Thanks for the updates. I will keep my eyes on this mod till all the bugs are ironed out. Can't wait to see Nippon faction on the map!
