Is This The MOST UNDERRATED Movie Ever ! 🤩 National Treasure Reaction First Time Watching

DN TV

British Guys watching National Treasure for the very First Time — and this National Treasure Reaction may have converted us into lifelong Nicolas Cage believers. This might genuinely be the most underrated adventure movie ever made. We had absolutely no idea what we were walking into. Nicolas Cage steals the Declaration of Independence. Please let that land. National Treasure is the kind of film that feels like it was made purely for the joy of it — a perfect blend of conspiracy theory, action and absolute audacity that somehow works from start to finish. We were hooked within minutes and never once wanted it to stop. The fact that this movie doesn't get talked about in the same breath as the great adventure films is a genuine crime, and after this reaction, we intend to correct that.

Movies are allowed to be well made fun. I wish we had more like this.

One of the very few things Sean Bean has ever been in where his character didn't die. Before I saw this in theater, I was beginning to wonder if he had it in all of his contracts that he had to die.

There's an entire series of movies in which Sean Bean survives. First one is called "Sharpe's Rifles."

My daughter and I went to the theater to see another movie, however it was sold out…we decided to see National Treasure, even though we had no idea what it was about, or if it would be any good. We LOVED it! It’s still a really fun watch!

As someone who lived near DC NY etc and was a bit of a history buff myself, I LOVED this movie! How the history connected and just thinking about al these historical figures hiding such a grand secret like this. Was just a great concept.

Funny story- i was at the Intrepid on a school field trip & they were filming this there. I saw the back of Nicholas Cages head from about 20ft away. My classmates whos buses parked closer to him got to him meet him, but my bus parked too far away unfortunately... but i saw him! Sections of the Intrepid were roped off for the set but we still got to see the set in person, & watching this reaction like 22-23 years later brings back memories. Cool stuff!
