Holy crap... Sean Bean survived. 😲😂 Great reaction to an awesome movie. Cheers!

FBI Agent Sadusky being revealed as Freemason was a nice touch.

Granpa is Oscar winner Christopher Plummer.

The second film is great fun too. Excellent reaction as usual.

This was well written script and great actors. Is fun to watch again

35:10 Legendary side character banter here

The wall street bit was real.  It was the old town wall.

Ben and Riley's bodies may have survived the explosion of Charlotte but not the concussion behind it.

Bieng a history nut. This is one of the most underrated movies I’ve ever seen.

"The real treasure was the friends we made along the way. Also, it's behind this other door, here."

Coincidentally just saw cage with his daughter outside of work. He was buying her an ice cream from the ice cream truck. Just waved at him and he waved back. Didn't want to give attention to him and have him mobbed while he's just trying to spend time with his kid.

There are a lot of talented actors in this movie.

Movies that incorporate real life history into awesome theatrical events with hidden meanings are my jam. Just watch knowing its made up but still semi believable is fun.

the ring the detective was wearing means he's a Freemason/Mason, it's known as the square and compass.

The real and made-up history are so interwoven in this movie--and the made-up stuff often inspired by real stuff, so even if you do know history this show will throw curveballs at you as you think "Oh yes, I remember learning something about that," and then find out they totally fictionalized it. Every time I watch, I end up having to look up just how accurately some little piece or another was portrayed, because they do such a good job of making it all sound so right.

Besides Sean Bean, Nicholas Cage and Diane Kreuger, there are at least three other actors that deserve special mention.  Christopher Plummer, who played Nick's Grandfather was in "The Sound Of Music" and "Waterloo", Jon Voight, Nick's Dad was in "Coming Home" and "The Champ", and Harvey Keitel, he appeared in "Taxi Driver", "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction".  All movies worth checking out.  And, Jon Voight is Angelina Jolie's real life Father.

As a history nut and aspiring archaeologist this is one of my fav movies. I love all the clues and how they went about getting them. I also love how much of a tech expert Riley is. Ben’s intelligence and Riley’s humor is so entertaining. Check out the sequel! Also National Treasure 3 was green lit this past March! Can’t wait! 😁

You definitely should watch National Treasure 2, Book of Secrets 😊

Mythbusters tested how to lift fingerprints from objects. You put the item and superglue in a sealed bag. Heat up the superglue and the vapor adheres to the oils of the fingerprint

It’s also done the same way in many criminal like shows
