My all time favourite band. First tattoo was a PJ one and their music has literally saved my life. The first time I heard "Alive" in high school in the 90s it changed me.

So good, I was from Seattle and I heard all of the bands from there live back in the day. Pearl Jam stands out as my favorite and this really took me back to those days. I thank you for that as those were really a very special time.

The first time I ever heard Angel was from a live bootleg recording not long after the album TEN had been released. It blew me away. I think it is one of their best songs, easily Top 5, and I will stand on that hill ready to fight for that belief. Thanks for sharing this great performance!

The Bridge School Benefit concerts were always very reserved. Often acoustic, stripped down sets. The Bridge School was founded by Neil Young's wife (at the time) Pegi and catered to kids with severe speech and physical impairments. Students and families would be in attendance and on the stage behind the artists. There is a popular performance of "Fade Into You" by Mazzy Star from a Bridge School Benefit concert that was during the day and you can see all the kids and families behind the band on stage.

It was a special concert for the young band, because they were playing for children with disabilities who were sitting right there in the audience. Eddie is clearly shy and nervous, you can see his hands shaking and his movements are a bit chaotic. He didn’t have much stage experience yet. Still, they played beautifully.

Ed is the biggest of all pimps. You won't recognize him but he just sang Song of Good Hope at Glen Hansard's funeral. you should listen to more Glen Hansard as well
