Overwatch Undivided is dropping Overwatch Lore BOMBS! Here's 5 of the biggest story reveals from the latest comic. Sigma still hasn't finished Vendetta's EMP, Moira's super soldier serum is hurting the gladiators it's meant to improve...and Vendetta challenges the world anyway?

In this Overwatch lore breakdown I go through 5 reveals from the new Overwatch Undivided comic: a look inside Sigma's mind as the weight of the universe presses down on him, Moira's serum trials, Emre and Freja vanishing (and what Chernobog could want with Emre), Domina walking away from Vendetta and Vishkar's deal, and the cracks in Vendetta's plan as the Reign of Talon story arc heads for its finale. As for what it could mean for Overwatch Season 5, Doctrine and the Overwatch 2 story going into 2027? Subscribe for my next vid :D

Overwatch Lore now has a clock ticking thanks to Overwatch Undivided! Sigma's still stuck on that EMP...think Sombra will get to him in time? D:

Let me know your theories!

It's interesting how Vendetta's bold, impulsive style let her beat a complacent doomsday, but in the long run is proving rapidly unsustainable. I feel like if she had bided her time until the bomb was ready, done a little bit more to maintain her alliances, and maybe even used the bomb as a bargaining chip to bring Null Sector around, she could have been a true force to be reckoned with. Instead, she's going for fast, easy victories, trying to keep momentum going. And from the looks of things, that strategy is about to dramatically fall apart.

Sombra really needs to rescue Sigma.

The only side of the current story that is interesting, is following Doomfist & the original Talon members. Doom's character development is impossible to ignore, especially when the voice actor is involved! He's the opposite of Vendetta. His actions speak volumes in gaining the trust of his allies. Proving that he alone is capable without the gauntlet & putting himself in harms way to protect the likes of Sombra, while breaking out Doctrine? Despite being a villain, he's the anti hero in his feud with Vendetta for being likable in every way that she isn't.

I wonder if Emre and Freja are going to go over to Doomfist's team? Or maybe to the Phreaks?

I'll be honest, I just want Hazard in more lore.

Doomfist was too complacent and Vendetta is too impatient.

Further proof that Ramattra is the best villain.

Thanks for summarizing everything neatly! It's been a bit hard to keep up with all the lore drops and connections lately.

I really want Echo to be one of the most important character in the last prt of this ark, cuz Echo lost her "mother" cuz of the Vendetta's dad actions and her "sister" cuz of ahe attack on Gibraltal.
Also Echo and Vendetta have a lot in common in their stories and visual symbols that were used in they animated lore videos.

A lot of things were foreshadowed about Echo chance to shine in this last part of the story. I reaaly hope it was not pointless.

Thank you for covering the webcomics; I don’t follow them, so it’s nice to get an overview of the notable plot events which occur there

Wild how what Sigma experiences is basically that scene from the MCU where Dr. Strange is first introduced to magic lmao

Vendetta has proven to be a solid, hateable baddie so there should be some kind of awesome showdown at the end of the year!

The emp payload in the comic looks like the one we use in kings row

THAT ASHE HAT IS SO COOL (Aside from that, I am looking forward to seeing what Team 4 does with Overwatch's next phase)

I'm beginning to think this Sigma guy isn't all the way sane...

@andrewsheffield6922 4 hours ago

Also an EMP would cause severe problems for the omnics which Rammatra will not take kindly too

If and when Marzia's grand aspirations fall apart, i will be there, laughing as she falls. Eagerly awaiting the day her whole world comes crashing down around her.
