Genuinely don't know wtf happened around the 1:00 mark. My editor really didn't like this video apparently. But at least it's only 10 seconds 😂

What's even crazier is that the movies were apparently so well received in Europe that Europa Park, Germany's biggest amusement park, has an entire area themed after them.

I don't remember this movie being as horney as it was.

Later in his life, Arthur grew up to be a surgeon  😭

Bro I kid you not I was thinking of this movie just the other day; not something that popped into my head for years, and thought I had dreamt it. Then this video popped up in my recommended and my memories were validated. Thank you for uploading this.

I find it crazy they made a horror movie based on this story as well

It is mind-blowing how a studio spent nearly $300 million on a fantasy franchise with a Hollywood A-list cast, featuring David Bowie, Madonna, Snoop Dogg, and Robert De Niro, only for it to completely vanish. Honestly, I feel a bit sad because it was such a big part of my childhood, and I really wished it had been good enough to get new movies and keep going. In the right hands, this franchise could have easily turned into a massive pop culture staple with toys, animated series, and new movies coming out to this day.

Does anyone else think the first film's main villain kind of looks like he belongs in an entry of the Oddworld video game series? (I mean that in a good way. I love the character designs in that series!) Also yes, being voiced by David Bowie is awesome, too!

I've only seen the 1st movie. I had no idea about the rest of them until now and holy hell... this franchise is more wild than i thought it was. I should watch them all.

Wish we could’ve had Arther saving Selenia from drowning

I grew up with the german dub, which was stacked with german celebrities. I never knew the english one was so stacked too lol

I remember only watching this on Disney xd as an 11 year old cuz I thought Selenia was hot

I was once informed by a terminally I'll child all about these movies at a monster talent show.

No that's not a typo. A monster talent show. Google it.

Every couple months I become obsessed with this franchise and the potential of its universe

(I also had like a crush on the grandma :face-turquoise-covering-eyes:)

Dude, what a well edited vid!

Now to the watch the weird, meta Horror Sequel

I’m surprised you didn’t mention how everyone talks so freaking fast in these movies. Was it so they had to do less animation?

14:09 for some reason I loved that contrast as a kid

I remember Arthur and The Minimoys and Delgo(2008)! They were great movies when I was just a kid but now that I’m an adult I can see what Critics didn’t like them!

This is crazy! I was Thu king about these movies the other day and watched them all on YT. Great vid!
