"even in a situation when they're both unhappy, they find joy in each other's company" maybe the definition of love that I will remember and consider as truer than anything

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres "

Attraction is a wanting.
Love is a choice.

Stark's not actually a coward. Bravery is not the absence of fear, but action in spite of it.

This is what sets Sou sou no frieren apart from other animes– this anime really changed something in me and taught me how to value relationships whether it’s platonic or romantic

Stark isnt a coward. He fights dragons and demons in spite of his fear of death which makes him the most courageous character in the show (with little to no real combat experience at 17-18 years old!).

Here is the best definition I’ve seen

Love: A commitment to the satisfaction, security, and development of the one loved and a commitment to the fulfillment of their needs, whatever they are, ALWAYS asking what’s best for the other person.

Love works when it’s mutual and when it’s a choice - you choose her and she chooses you from billions of choices. Just as much as you love her, she just as much loves you.

Yes, love is not a fight but it’s something worth fighting for. You decide to never leave no matter how tough it gets. You realize you don’t owe each other anything, but choose to give each other everything. It’s a sacrifice.

I don't usually comment on videos or anything but as a 25 yo guy who can deeply relate to Stark, this video has helped more than any manosphere channel could ever hope to. I don't watch those vids but its nice to have something not just focused on superficial things. This is the love I hope to achieve in life though its scary way more than racking up casual flings.

One problem is that we place expectation instead of just living the moment . The internet destroys this ..

Ya'll DONT understand how happy I was when they went on their date this most recent ep!!

While i largely agree with all of this, as a woman, when I hear men say they want me to accept their "flaws", this often implies accepted behaviors and traits that are abusive. And I dont want anyone to tolerate abuse just to accept someone "as they are". I'm fairly certain thats not what you meant here, but young people especially interpret this literally and assume that fully loving and accepting someone means tolerating abusive behavior. I can love and accept someone being insecure; I cannot love and acceot someone who constantly hurts me because of their insecurity. Important distinction

A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up. Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown.
