"somehow Lady Deathstrike returned"

I miss the old days of movie video games!

Somehow, everyone returned.....except for Toad.

I would argue the 2013 movie breaks the continuity of this game. It came first.

You meant to say that magneto has sabre tooth with him, not beast! And also there’s a Java mobile game that features cyclops is a playable character! :)

I like how this game kept the Fox's X-Men tradition of constantly breaking its own continuity 😂😂😂😂😂

Hi Flandrew. I’ve been watching your channel for almost 3 years and I absolutely appreciate every video you make. Watching your videos makes me feel like I’ve gone back in time to play the games I never got to play as a kid.

You should make a video on how great of a year 2007 was! Games, movies, media, etc

7:22 sabertooth not beast

Feels good knowing lady death strike survived her undeserved death in x2

I really miss the movie tie-in games and the 2000s in general 😢 I want that era back! 😢

This is a crazy coincidence. I just watched the original X-Men movie yesterday for the first time in like 20 years because I'm introducing my 7 year old son to Marvel and wanted to start with the OGs lol and then you release a retrospective of the games for it the next day! Good timing 😂

That Chris Bachalo art in the GBA game is so cool

I hate how they didn’t have animated cutscenes, tho it was nice seeing this connect X-Men and X2 having Nightcrawler and Sabretooth in the game as that trilogy always felt disconnected

11:24 - That IS his teleport, the world freezes because he's disappearing and then appearing somewhere else.

Tie-In games from this era were not as bad as people said they were, just because they weren't GTA3.

A few thoughts: If they were already paying a guy to do comic book art for the GBA version, they should have had him do the cutscenes for the PS2 version. I think you called Sabertooth "Beast" at one point lol. In addition to Silver Samurai breaking the Wolverine continuity, the Sentinels break the continuity of X-Men: Days of Future Past. Also, they really went all in on that Mystique sprite animation 👀.

7:22 I think you meant Sabretooth 😅

I love game boy advance version. It was cool playing through interesting levels, and even after finishing the game, I spent a lot of time in the 'Danger Room' mode, where you could pick several bosses and minions of different types. That was super.

I have memories of the GBA version more than the others
