Icelander here: if you are in Iceland over the winter, get yourself some Icelandic smoked lamb (hangikjöt - lambakjöt).

Rhubarb is extremely common in the UK America simply never caught on

The Reason the Dessert had rhubarb was because it is a seasonal fruit!

Bread and dripping was poor people food back in olden times. These days it's in pricey gastro pubs - the world changes!

Kalani has done a lot of videos around the UK. Mainly on his Kalani and Sav channel and also on his KGH (Kalani Ghost Hunter) channel.  Good bloke and fair reviews.

"That seems strange to me..."  Me too, and I live here.

Rhubarb crumble and custard is the best. (Ice cream optional) Yummy.
Then again, you can't whack a good Dutch apple crumble.
Ingredients: Apples-dried mixed fruit-cinnamon.

Sticky Toffee pudding is based on a secret recipe

Its a breadmcrumb around the Scotch egg. Then its all deep fried. My mum used to make them. Egg, sausage meat, breadcrumb. Soooo nice on a summer day eating it warm.

Rhubarb tastes different depending on if you get ordinary rhubarb or forced rhubarb. while ordinary rhubarb can be a little tart forced rhubarb is sweeter. To get forced rhubarb you get mature rhubarb that has had a few seasons of growth then grow it in total darkness. It grows much faster then and some say you can even hear it growing. You can eat rhubarb cooked or raw but the leaves of the plant are toxic. Forced rhubarb comes from the rhubarb triangle (a real thing) which is an area of land between Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford in Yorkshire Northern England.

i normally slather a joint of beef in honey cook it in silver foil on a lower heat for around 5 hours with a little water added in the oven then when you cut up the meat its a bit like pulled beef but i add the juices from the meat and honey to my gravy that's what makes it special and ideal for a Sunday roast

The beef is organic and local... so a little rare is great... and tender

Don't forget savoury puddings, such at steak & kidney pudding or black pudding. Pudding is used in a lot of contexts.
If someone calls you a pudding, it can be very good or very bad.

I wouldn't have surgery in the US. They can't seem to use knives with any form of finesse.

Americans and cutlery 😱

rhubarb and custard should be tried by everyone depending on how much sugar is put into it while cooking makes a difference to how tart or sweet it is i like mine sweet with a little bit of the tart taste like someone never mixed the sugar in properly before its cooked
