Drake claims to be a barbarian, but with how much vicious mockery he does, he has to have at least a little bard.

Speaking as someone who has been in multiple abusive relationships leaving an abuser is not easy. Abusers have a way of getting in your head, they’ll make it feel like it’s your fault, that you deserve it, or even normalize that behavior. Years after my abusive ex left me i still have to stop myself sometimes and remind myself that treating others like that is not okay. It has had a long term effect on my self esteem and i often just accept bad treatment cause i feel it’s what i deserve. I’m just lucky she got bored of me so i didn’t spend even longer in a relationship that was hurting me with someone i was afraid of. Not everyone is that lucky.

Story 3 is probably the definition of peak redditor. You just know OP was patting themselves on the back posting that, each edit they added another victory in their head.

When someone is all "haha yeah I'm a jackass lol" they're always at least slightly joking, but usually they fall into one of two catagories
1. They actually have agood heart and are just filling the social role without actually being a terrible person
2. They're genuinely just a complete peice of garbage who somehow still has the ego to think that they're in the first catagory.

"Story number 4 comes from a deleted user" Somehow, I think I know what the verdict will be.

As an actual abuse victim, antagonizing the abuser is tantamount to making the victim's life worse. Part of what makes abuse happen is the power imbalance and the lack of secure social networks.

In the 3rd story, it may be that Sue is from a different state, region, etc and is away from her actual support network and Bobby is leveraging that fact to stay with him. And with the way OP was acting, Sue prolly couldn't trust that friend group anyway. That's my perspective as both victim and having a wife with that flavor of insecurity.

Hey, Drake. Have you seen that capybara lately? The only activity on his channel has been a change to his avatar and he's looking like me after I visit my family.

As a bartender, rule one is to make sure everyone drinks safely and responsibly. By getting someone more drunk than they probably wanted and poking the proverbial bear, you are breaking that rule and people's trusts.

As a rule of thumb, if someone looks like they are being pressured into something by someone who is shown to be abusive, intervention is something that should be happening in some form.  That guy can cry adult all he wants, but even adults can be exploited and bullied into submission.  If that were not the case we wouldn't have managers or managerial positions taking advantage of their employees by using their power to bully them into accepting more work at less pay.

OP from story 3 is like one of those sitcom characters like Peter Griffin from Family Guy. Just a complete idiot who makes things worse for everyone while completely oblivious to it.

‘I’m really good at playing ‘Follow The Jackass’’

So you’re constantly running in circles?

There is also a 4th option for the "Labels" of AITH, and that "NAH" which is "No A**holes Here"

An environment of shallow flattery does not give the confidence to leave an abusive relationship when those same flatterers make it abundantly clear they tolerate abusive behaviour and blame you for putting up with it. Yeah Drake, you did good calling that self-aggrandizing fake friend out. Equally good noticing the catch-22 of the parent trying to ground adult children. Yeah, rent is a responsibility and there should be consequences if it isn't kept up with, but enacting social isolation on people isn't a landlord thing, it even goes past a parent thing, it's a line getting crossed thing.

The 3rd story was so annoying, because op KEPT making assumptions about the relationship and clearly kept putting the abused at the fault for being abused and then pat themselves on the back for upsetting an abuser then that little "you can stay with us" BASICALLY ENSURED THE ABUSER IS GONNA TAKE IT OUT ON HERE BRO LIKE YOU IS NOT THE HERO YOU THINK YOU AREEE

What’s crazy to me is that he antagonized Bobby to remove sue from her friend group

2nd story, it sounds like Dave decided unilaterally that Jess' Sorcery was going to be a "coming out" story and OP was the repressive villain.

I had a similar experience on an RP server in WoW when I played a Worgen, who in universe consider themselves cursed humans, but could find nobody but  "embrace your true self: the beast" RPers.

OP from the 3rd story is the AH but the actual abuser is definitely worse than him. Definitely he’s not the worst one here.

Don't make someone else's life harder just because you can. I don't care if someone else is already abusing that person that's just worse.

I think in game repercussions for in game cheating should be allowed. But they need to be on scale and discussed with the other players. Not making the experience impossible to all players.
In the second story there was evident malicious intent from Dave.

I'm glad you enjoyed the barbarian fanart!  That skit was absolute gold. :)
