Oh my goodness! That is by far the most beautiful art deco vanity I've ever seen. Thank you, thank you for restoring it. You did an amazing job.

First, let me say "Thank You" for keeping that beauty intact; I really feel so sad when people turn these beautiful Vanities into Nightstands. They need the respect for the amount of work that went into the design & creation put into them. I've had vanities in my life since I was a child, now that I am 82, I find that most people want to forget the past, but me?? I simply love these Old pieces! The honor you do to preserve them is amazing and well done. Now that "Old Lady" stands proud again, thank you again for helping her. Please keep up the great work. Be safe, be well and Blessings to you - ♥♥♥!!!

So glad you decided to honor the original piece. As an ambidexter myself, I also enjoy seeing someone use both hands while working.

I am an Art Deco lover, this may be the most beautiful piece I've ever seen! You did a magnifigent job bring out the beauty of the piece, thank you for not cutting it up into night stands.

Thank you so much for treating this piece with the gentle respect it deserves. May I say that I was proud to see you tackle that inlay? The time, patience and skill you put into this piece does you credit. It's beautiful. I think I would have preferred the original contrast on the trim, but that's just an aesthetic thing. If you don't already watch Tom Johnson, I highly recommend his videos. The guy is a master cabinetmaker and I have seen him restore what I considered hopeless veneer damage. He's been at it for almost 60 years so he is a fount of knowledge. I look forward to your next video!

Glad to see it wasn’t made into night stands.  Very happy to see that you took the time to repair rather than “remodel”.  So many nice pieces from the past have been butchered for the sake of a video.

My father bought a vanityvery similar to this one when i was 10 or 11. I am now 74 and still using it everyday. It is a prize possession of mine. My dad is long gone but he would be proud that i still use it.

I am not sure I have ever seen the craftsmanship you instill every piece of furniture you work on. Just amazing.

Rich, this was worth waiting for. Your dad was spot on with the color matching. Art Deco has been my favoritte since dad got this style for me and my sister's bedroom. He looked for someting he thought was feminine for us. I can still remember the waterfall sides, the big round mirror and those beautiful bakelite drawer pulls. Thank you for being so informative in your restorations.

I found you by accident and so glad!  I believe you found your calling!  You do beautiful work and your narration is perfect!  I love to see a young man love these beautiful old pieces of furniture and bring them back to life!  Imagine the story each piece could tell you over the last 50, 60,70+ years!  Bravo to you and I wish you the best of luck in your business!  Continue as you are and you will have great success!

I think it's great that your folks are so supportive. My adult son is on the Autistic spectrum and has had a hard time finding his niche. He likes mechanical stuff and he inherited all his father's tools (so many tools) so I asked him if he wants to refinish furniture with me. We'd both be newbies, but I love the possibilities.

I enjoy your commentary and the fact that it’s mostly your voice and not cheesy music!  I too enjoy Angie from Transcend.  Keep up the great work!

That looks beautiful! So nice to see the piece come back to life!
I like the fact that you sand, and even stain, the unseen areas. It makes it much easier to do the dusting on the back, by keeping the dust cloth from getting caught on rough wood.

You've been elevated to one of my favorite channels

I'm a bit of ol' school, more like the 60s & the 70s. I remember when I would visit my Daddy's house for the summers. He had antique furniture in his apartment. When I see you restoring antique furniture, it reminds me of the good ol' days at my Dad's apartment. Thank you for reminding me of the good times when I visited my pops.

That is absolutely glorious.  As many have said before me, thank you so much for keeping it in one piece. The patina is just beautiful.

Hey this is my second time watching. They are pretty long but they are well worth it and I love how you take your time and do it all. I think that's very rare and people that flipped furniture. You and your father work so well together and I'm sure you're an inspiration to each other. I grew up with the waterfall dresser like this in my sister's room. After she died I have no idea what happened to it, because I think it was just giving away. 😢 Go back to you I really thoroughly enjoy watching you and I will continue. Have a wonderful weekend.

Gorgeous piece treated with the respect and TLC that it deserves. Exquisite job.

What a great job restoring this beautiful piece.  I know most would break this into 2 night stands, I'm so glad you don't follow the crowd.  Wonderful work and I love that your Dad helps you.

This is an AMAZING RESTORATION! The vanity is so BEAUTIFUL and it last, if taken good care, for another century! The knobs you found are  perfect! Thanks so much for sharing.
