What an absolute gorgeous piece of furniture. For myself, my first thought would have been restoration instead of the trash bin but I am old and drawn towards antiques like me. Great job!

What a wonderful restoration! Love your dedication to fully restoring all surfaces. You have such respect for this valuable historic piece.

I LOVE your longer videos!! There is NOTHING that you could do better on your videos! You are so very talented! Beautiful work!!

It’s always a great feeling restoring a piece that someone had in their home for many year and is now unfortunately abandoned . You do great work.

I am a new subscriber. I love your work so very much… I’m not a furniture restorer, but I did succeed very recently at refinishing the top of two solid heavy walnut side tables. They are from the 1970s, I think - I bought at a yard sale for $35 each … I cleaned the pieces with Dawn soap first. It was interesting that you do use this occasionally. I didn’t know what I was doing but used dawn… The table tops were all stained with rings from drinks and other stains (which was why no one wanted them, I guess) So I hand sanded the tops with the finest grit sandpaper I could find, and was finally able to get down into the wood beyond the stains. I also did something you’d cringe about… I didn’t know what I was doing, so I washed the tops again with a bleach solution, then let it dry… And then did not stain, but applied lacquer several coats, fine sanding between - I Just let the grain show - And then applied Old English furniture Polish, buffing the whole things extensively - I cleaned the brass hardware in Dawn soap and buffed them a bit with steel wool and reapplied. All my friends think I’m a genius lol - But they do look stunning. This is the absolute extent of anything I could ever do. I enjoy watching a master artist such as yourself. You are a true artist.

Your attention to detail is what makes you a Master Craftsman.  I so much enjoy watching your videos!

This piece would be the perfect candidate for a French polishing! Love the “jewelry”…..thank you for the beautiful stain color…you brought out the beauty of mahogany.

Way worth it! Looks soooo much better! You DO have the patience of a Saint. Thanks for sharing! Love your work!

I just found your channel recently and have loved all the restorations you’ve done! I’m learning how to restore furniture and these videos have helped me so much. thank you 🤍

I truly love your practical comments. Thank you.

I enjoyed this one very much. It came out beautifully. I would love to have it with higher legs so I could use it as a small desk. What I enjoy also is that you not only explain what you are doing but why. You give alternatives to some of the techniques you use, which is not something a lot of restorers do. Thank you for taking the time, as you go along to talk to us about what you are doing even when you think you've made a mistake. It's all a pleasure to watch. I'm also glad to know you are feeling like yourself again. Take care of you.

Very unique piece! You have the patience of a saint with the Odies Oil 😅

Really beautiful job. So glad you saved it.

Great work. I do have to say that my preference is for all the wood on a piece to match in color.

Oh my goodness!!  This isn't a crappy old table!!  It's gorgeous!!  Btw, it does have dovetail joints!!  They're on the top surface of the drawer instead of the usual sides!!  Now i'm gonna finish watching the rest of the video.

Love this! The table went from very pretty to absolutely stunning! So beautiful!♥

Great job! I love gorgeous mahogany coffee tables. My only wish is for a darker, cooler toned stain and shellac finish.

Nice job!  The corner decorations really stand out.  I think it was worth the effort.

So rich and warm now...good choice removing the fluted sections.
You do fabulous work 😊❤
