Comic book movie has comic book tone.
Critics: 🤯

You know what I love about this superman movie? Superman just wants to save and be good. No random moral gray area, he wants to save people (and a giant alien lizard) because it's what you should do.

Lex Luthor using monkeys in a pocket dimension may not make sence logically, but it is 100% in character for him

AHH man the groovy gang is so funny that whole episode was brilliant

Anyone remember when people complained that “Spider-Man 3” had too many characters, and it was just Sandman, Venom and New Goblin?

Gunn clearly tried to make this a comic book movie. And I loved it.

"An army of mutated monkeys chained to computers [to shape the narrative]" so Lex Luther owns reddit then?

Its weird that the same people who hated x-men 3 for being convoluted and overstuffed absolutely adore this movie 🤔

I feel like Drinker really doesn't understand Lex Luthor's motivations.  It's not about ruling the world or beating Superman physically.  It's about beating Superman in every way possible, humiliating him on the world stage, and proving Luthor the better man in every way possible.  The conversation between Superman and Luthor at the end of the movie pretty much tells it to the audience straight up, Luthor's  ego cannot stand the existence of Superman.

James Gunn understands what comics are. Cheesy, sometimes ridiculous that take themselves seriously. This movie feels like a comic book that became a movie. Finally

Why do people want this movie to fail so badly. The hate for this movie feels forced.

Thanks for putting this together.

Just saw the movie, and after all the “meh” reviews, I was waiting for it to turn bad. It didn’t. It was great. Will watch again in theaters.

Clark Kent was a refugee, not an immigrant.

I don’t get why they still let that reporter anywhere near any openings for movies or shows.

Drinker I like the New variation in clips i Hope you continue this in your Reviews ! 🚀

Mate lex had a literal monologue about why he did what he did. Were you on your phone playing subway surfer?

Did anybody actually even bring up Superman being an immigrant except that interviewer trying to rage bait through life?

Just saw Superman and honestly… it kinda hit the spot. It’s not perfect, but it feels like Superman again. There’s heart, there’s hope, and thank God it isn’t drowning in darkness or pretending to be something it’s not. The new guy (Corenswet) did well, and Rachel Brosnahan is a badass Lois. Their chemistry carries a lot.

Some scenes are a little overstuffed and the tone jumps around at times, but when it works, it works. Krypto is a damn scene stealer too. This definitely isn’t Snyder’s Superman it’s more classic comic book energy with a modern spin. If you’re into that, I think you’ll walk out smiling.

Fun Fact :- James Gunn was planning to do a Movie involving Superman finding missing Krypto in 2017. And now I think Superman movie had that Element in the Plot, which was not needed.
