Henry Cavil's answer to the question about toxic fans was 100% class!

I don't have superhero fatigue, I have bad movie fatigue...

Henry calvil once again showing why people chear any time he looks in the direction of any IP they love.

First lesson of Marketing:
1. Don’t have a preview trailer where the dog pisses on a newspaper featuring Superman’s picture.
That was the first major mistake.

The sad thing is, they don’t want the movies fixed, they want You fixed.

I love that interview with Cavill. That guy is like a case study of how humility can endear an actor to a fandom that hates the projects he’s in. I can’t even remember all the people who have taken turns over the years to tear apart Man of Steel, Justice League, and the Witcher, but everyone has always had great things to say about Cavill because the dude loves what he does, loves the source material for the projects he takes on, and takes it on the chin when people give him criticism because he genuinely wants to make something that people can enjoy. People want to see him succeed because he respects his audience, unlike most of Hollywood which seems to hate us and everything we care about.

I'd just like to say, Henry Cavil is a gem among Hollywood. God bless that man, and please someone let him make nerd movies.

6:31 - "...The media is not your friend...At the end of the day, they have all the sincerity of a f3m4le compliment." 😅✅🎯🧠💯

It’s as if actors and actresses all acted like Tom Cruise at the beginning of Top Gun Maverick thanking the audience. A more recent example is Ryan Gosling with Project Hail Mary. Thanking the fans and hoping they like it.

RDJ staring into space as that "journalist" asks questions completely unconnected to the movie is "A picture is worth a thousand words."

"The Media are not your friends, and the fans are not your enemies." 💯

Supergirl looks like a movie about a woman no one would ever want to be friends with, date, or certainly never marry.

Cavill is smoother than silk and cooler then ice.

Cavill absolutely nailed it. One thing Hollywood doesn't seem to realize is that fans of a thing... like that thing. They like the fundamental aspects that make it what it is. If you get rid of those, they're gonna get angry.
That's just what being a fan is. If you get the adaptation right, fans are gonna shout it out from the rooftops (One Piece comes to mind), but if you screw up, they're gonna shout just as hard.

That was actually a good response by Larson to the question. Have to give her some respect.

I love that Robert Downey Jr death stare

Cavill has clearly practiced fencing. He parried that trap question deftly.

Any interviewer who starts a question with 'I'm curious ...' is looking for a gotcha.

I absolutely respect RDJ walking out of that interview.
