“Godzilla - All Movies Reviewed” would feed families for generations 😩😩😩

In fairness to Superman 4, Chris Reeve agreed to do it as long as it was about Superman stopping nukes, because he knew children were afraid of nuclear weapons and wanted them to feel safer

The first Superman movie being about him protecting innocent mole men from hate and fear instead of punching any bad guys is kind of perfectly fitting in a goofy but beautiful way.

I LOVE how Gunn and Corenswet managed to characterize Clark as being optimistic and kind without being naive or stupid. He does some very smart stuff in the movie, but the moment that really sells it for me is when the Justice Gang kill the kaiju. He's not angry or surprised, he's not even really upset, he's just disappointed. He's like "Man, I figured this would happen, but I was really trying to avoid it." That's BRILLIANT. Too often an idealistic character like Superman comes off as an idiot, like they really don't understand what's going on or how the world really works. Not so here. Superman knows what people are like and chooses to love and believe in them anyway. Chef's kiss.

The Cosmonaut Marcus will return in Avengers: Doomsday

Superman fixing the leaning tower of pisa in superman 3 is maybe one of the funniest things ive seen

WB striking down cosmonaut's videos: 1A! 1A! 1A! 1A! 1A! 1A! 1A! 1A!

"obviously none of you can be trusted with guns, so I'm gonna take them away from you" what an icon

51:51 saying “he didn’t want to shave” undercuts the actual insane reason which is that he was contractually obligated by Paramount to keep a mustache for mission impossible and they refused Warner Bros offer to pay for fake mustache makeup (which is so much easier than removing a mustache) just as a way to screw them over

Bryan Singer, Kevin Spacey, Ezra Miller, Bill Cosby. So many real life villains connected to the movies that depict our purest superhero.

All the Rocky Movies. You called Creed a perfect film and it times well with the Stallone Biopic this year

Kinda sad Superman isn’t portrayed more accurately more often, glad the new movie did him justice because when done right he’s so motivational and enjoyable

“Next year we’re reviewing every transformers movie” all those picture shows were building to something

I knew Gunn's Superman had the sauce when his first word after being healed was "Golly!"

Another thing about Superman 78 is that it introduced the concept of the S as a Kryptonian symbol, purely because Marlon Brando wanted to wear "a Superman suit" as Jor-El. That movie single handedly changed Superman canon forever (although personally I prefer the continuities where Martha just creates that symbol for Clark).

“Of course I know what Superman’s powers are. He, uh, he can…”
looks at his emblem
“He can throw that thing at people. Yeah.”

Saying “or something’s gonna happen to you” about Christopher Reeve is diabolical

Pirates of the Carribean series would be fun to review I think!
