Thank you everyone for explaining the toe comment, i really appreciate it. Obviously it is not something to make light of. I included the comment because she responded to it so I hope at least it still adds that context of how the comment sections were and how she was replying.

Ragebait and pity marketing are my least favorite social media tactics

"Jokes on you, I was just pretending to be stupid."

That girl may think she's smart, but she's definitely not mature.

I hate when rage baiters think they just pulled off some groundbreaking social experiment. Like no girl, you just lied for fun on the internet

It's the smugness. The smugness is what really bothers me. And, y’know, the complete lack of caring about how deeply depressing the ragebait economy is. Are these people not disturbed by it? Saddened? Worried about its long-term impact on humanity? Guess not. Ca-ching. Ca-ching. Ca-ching.

1) The fact that rage motivates the algorithm so much is a large reason why social media and the world at large sucks so much nowadays.

2) That confession made me cringe more than the rage bait did.

It is funny to me how the tiktok version of Nicocado's reveal is also only a fraction of the length of that arc. Fourteen days? That's all? No commitment.

The fake “my husband is crap” content where it’s obvious that the partner is in on it is just as bad as rage bait. There are people that are in actual terrible relationships and them pretending for content is making a mockery of those people.
The comment that she made “I wanted to pyjamas, I could of gotten creamer myself” all I thought was “well you could have bought the pyjamas yourself as well”

For me, it's wasting food. It just really rubs me the wrong way, even if it's for a bit and I know it's for a bit.

8:38 the implication is that she will get gangrene from diabetes and lose her toes/feet

There is a reason the moment I realise a creator posts rage bait I don’t engage at all and just block the account. If you can’t get genuine engagement without rage baiting then you shouldn’t be a content creator.

My inner child is an old person yelling at clouds.

i really hate this new culture of not just rage baiting but also being really mean and disguising it as a joke, and then the response is "it's not my fault you're so fucking stupid you couldn't tell i was obviously joking when i was being a bitch". i just hate it

but also people need to learn how to effectively deplatform! just scroll past! stop engaging!

6:24 she talking too much I would’ve been scrolled up 😂😂

Thank god it's not AI slop, just some good old fashioned human slop

19:02 what’s the gotcha? That she has no shame? Like, okay, she tricked people. Who cares tho? What did she accomplish? What does she have to be so smug about?

The second half was so much more awkward than ragebait

Rage baiters have the same energy as the kids you went to school with who very clearly lied about anything and everything to get attention because they didn’t get any at home and didn’t know any other way of getting it. The thing about rage baiters that I also feel like they don’t get sometimes is just because you tell people it was rage bait/ a lie or prank, is the general public will take it at face value and that’s how you will be perceived from then on, and saying it was fake makes it even worse cause it shows you’re the kind of person willing to deceive people for money and attention which is awful on its own and honestly just sad…

the people pleaser in me could never, like having my entire online persona being entirely centered around making people angry confuses me so deeply. I do not understand!!! like where does ‘some attention is better than none’ end.
