This is how you become a quilter... you make one quilt, have leftovers, so make another quilt, but you have to buy a little more fabric, you have some leftover... and then you see a cool sample or pattern in the quilt store. The rest is history.

A week ago the algorithm brought you into my universe, and Ive consumed SO MUCH of your content since! I was so delighted to find someone else who does, what I have affectionately called, BS sewing. Ive costumed shows, made ren faire outfits, quilts, and so much more with a "eh, I can figure this out" amount of crafting audacity for years.

Thank you for choosing the Trevor project. It's a wonderful charity.

Making things for charity just makes you feel good. I've been doing small projects like patchwork coasters for a cat spay program and lap quilts for for the chemo department at our local hospital

A pennant flag or pennant banner would be so cute too!! Like a permanent party banner

your CC descriptions of the music playing made me giggle the whole video! i like that you keep your fun and silly personality while ensuring CC still works well for screen readers.

looking forward to how this goes! and thank you for donating to the trevor project <3 i'll add my (metaphorical) 2 cents to that pot in your name.

Should you so desire, making "The Stitchery" labels would be a fun project to watch, and you could use them on the annual charity auction items.

Ok, ok, Universe, i made a tie-on pocket to wear with my pocketless dress, could you stop sending a sewing fever on me every time I watch Charlie's video, please?
Charlie, in case you want to collect people you've inspired to sew, count me in. Made a linen petticoat in August, and this pocket now. Had very little stress doing it because you've taught me that "good enough for me" is a valid thing!

Link might be the cutest little model I've ever seen.

Tie on pockets are the best for holding pegs while you're putting washing on the line. 😁

This is so cute! You can even hot glue hair clips to the bows! I think it would be really sweet to have a hankerchief base to embroider my own initials on or a napkin set for dinner parties

Using up scraps is sooo satisfying! Lovely assortment of accessories for paying it forward Charlie. Shout out to your cameo on Shannon Makes. Fun seeing you guys share relatable excitement.😻
