Hi all, sorry for the audio problem. There are two slightly out-of-sync sources playing. Rookie mistake. Will definitely be fixed for the next video. I appreciate the support. Thanks.

They are not "hiding microphones in their costumes."  That is their voices and that's how their people look from their planet.  🔺

The energy and originality of this is off the scales, waaay over 11.

I can’t stop smiling! You can feel they’re having a lot of fun 😊

Two talented original guys from Québec.  Viral

Greetings fellow ADP reaction video fiends.  I hope this one carries you comfortably until your next fix.

Fabienk is I think their Anthem. Like when they flew down to earth and made their grand entrance!!!

They set a groove then elaborate and stretch it out. Their technical virtuosity is awesome and their compostions are brilliant. The beat makes your head bob. The costumes add another level of weird whimsicality to the performance. They rock.

The guitarist added frets on his guitar to be able to play in a scale with quarter of tones instead of the usual half tones. That is what makes the weird "de-tuned" effect. The name "angine de poitrine" means "heart attack" in french. It reminds me of King Crimson's Discipline, but one step further. I did not think that it was possible to go further than Robert Fripp, yet they did. These guys are geniuses.

Mata Zyklek = Motocyclette = Motorbike 😉
When you listen to the music, you can hear the off-road motorbike sound.

Great reaction!
Cheers, from Québec!

your output is doubled. it's not supposed to sound like that. we hear the song twice with a millisecond delay. check your output settings my friend, it's unbearable ! ;)

Yes I've never seen microtonal with an underpinning of funk before, I'm also hooked by the looping that gives this a dance track repetition I get on with. I think they've made a communal triangular marriage of all steel breezes and I enjoyed watching you go through the realisations I did and some more.

The odd in-tune, whilst also being slightly out of tune plus the buzzing isnt the kind of chaos I will switch off, it is comedy, whilst being high-end. Very few people have the talent to have this much fun, I never got into Prince but I feel like they are at that other level. The more you watch the more you see and all the concerts in my country are upping the venue size and selling out within 12 hours! The full live set on KEXP's channel had millions of views in a week and the comment section is as creative as they are. All Hail Khn and Klek de Poitrine! I think they just invented a genre..

Love this band. They hypnotize me. Their songs take me through an internal journey. Love it. I look at ALL reaction videos about them that people post

First few weeks all i did was listen to them and their weird time shifts & loops . they are playing the 27 june in Montreal free Jazz fest.

I discovered AdP about a month ago, when YouTube suggested their full KEXP concert. Been listening to them non-stop ever since. They are the freshest breath of air in new music in literally decades, not to mention a big middle finger to AI music generators (Suno absolutely cannot handle the microtonal notes or the complex time signatures that AdP uses). The current pinnacle of math rock.

Like it or not, AdP is pushing boundaries. Flowers to KEXP for awesome audio.

Wow is right. Their technical virtuosity is awesome and the compositions are brilliant. The costumes add a whimsically strange theatrical element to the performance.

Everything on the KEXP appearance is stellar. Fabienk is probably my favorite.
Like others here, I've found so many new reaction channels because I will always watch whenever someone does one to this band now. I've been absolutely obsessed since I first watched the KEXP video last month.
I've heard a lot of comparisons to King Gizzard, Primus, VoiVod, even King Crimson. They definitely do a great, alchemical job of mixing together prog, psyche, funk, pop, rock, mathrock, and even disco.
