In hindsight, that “It’s about saving what we love” scene really is the “We did it, Patrick! We saved the city!” of Star Wars, isn’t it? 🤣

i cant stand this "video essayist super vulnerable emotional dude" type anymore. genuinely destroying youtube.

I'll stop being mean when they start producing quality stuff.

Which they won't.

I thouroughly despise the idea that being mean to someone means you're treating them like they're "less than human". These people have no idea what it's actually like to be seen as subhuman.

Star Wars is like a old friend you had when you were a younger that reentered your life, but in the years between they became super manipulative and abusive, in addition to becoming a political extremist.

No, we don't have an obligation to accept that person back into our lives.

The scene where Rose rams Finn is so funny. Finn is trying to rescue all the people he loves by using his vehicle to destroy the laser-ram, and she decides to let those people die to save Finn.
Any soldier fighting in a rebellion is putting their life on the line, and Finn makes the choice to die so the cause can live on. Rose just sacrificed the cause so Finn could live. The only reason any of them survived is because Luke SACRIFICED himself to distract the attackers while Rey ferried all of the resistors away on the falcon… never mind that the Falcon is pretty small and the remainder of the resistance would never be able to win in the future if they could all fit on that ship…

That last quote is so ironic, Its possible to fight because you love, not just because you hate. That is exactly what fans are doing, fighting for what they love, good Star Wars. We are not fighting Disney Star Wars just because we hate it, we are fighting because we love good Star Wars, we are fighting to bring back the good and end the bad. Which is exactly what this quote is saying, fight for what you love. Its what true fans are doing, have always done, and will continue to do.

"Be nice to people! Unless they're a bot. What is a bot you ask? Why a person who doesn't like The Last Jedi"

If this guy heard the Am monologue he would start crying.

I hate this guy's voice, everything he says in this video is dripping with this attitude of "I'm so smart and philosophical and a deep thinker and stuff", it's gross, and so much worse when it's said by someone who's also (obviously) not very intelligent, evidently at least 😂

OH NO, VITO!

Star Wars needs to stop being so stupid.

I love how you can pinpoint the exact place EFAP has on the Internet at any time, by looking at the guests that are there for a few episodes and never return.

I am, of course, talking about Vito.

The piano music is fucking killing me LMAO

If what you hate is trying to destroy what you love then how are you going to save what you love without fighting what you hate?

Lol @25:28, "They will not sacrifice lives" . . . What was that line again? "Many Bothans died to bring us this information." Sure, no sacrifices . . . (Also side eyes Rogue One.)

He talks like a South Park character of himself

“I think all of the new films are indisputably the greatest.”
“I disagree.”

”So anyway guys I think we need to be able to have civilized conversations about the things we love.” (i.e. stop disagreeing with me >:(((((!!)

If I ever meet Rags in real life, I'm going to burp loudly in his ear to see how he likes it.
