'Shippers' needs to become a slur

Of course they don't. Half of them are league players and the other half is the tumblr crowd

Joker: “Nobody panics when things go according to plan. Even if the plan is horrifying!”
Sums up so well for Heimerdinger’s fate. Nobody mourns him because it’s a part of the plan.

RIP Heimerdinger. You are just like Lemar. Never stood a chance.

I started watching Season 2, and I was like "Woah, this is rushed." I kept watching, and realized they were trying to squeeze two seasons into one, and then I got further and realized they squished three seasons into one. Its like they took the bullet points for their remaining outline, and just animated that. Rushed, clunky, disrespectful to the characters, etc.

Upon thinking about it, I do take issue with the reveal of Jinx’s mom being friends with Vander and Silco because I think it takes away from Silco’s character. Now we have to think he raised Jinx because of his dead friend and not because they bonded over being rejected, betrayed by their loved ones. Also rip Vi Ig. Only Vander cared about her lol.

Mauler: And then they kiss!
Rags: Well shit, I gotta go.

Season 2 is 100% fan service. Zero substance only a rollercoaster ride between manucatured fan moments at breakneck pace fuelled by season one.

It feels like the writers spent their coffee breaks arguing over which League champion skin to promote instead of crafting a coherent story. The dialogue tries so hard to be poetic and profound, it ends up sounding like a dollar-store Shakespeare who learned all their vocabulary from Twitter trends.

28:29 had me dying laughing with Fringy’s response to the spider verse connection 😂

“They’re not remotely the same OTHER THAN…”

“Oh they’re animated.”

Love it lmao

The dance is completely hollow because there’s nothing between the characters and they don’t act like real people

That "find the power to forgive" comment reeks of the writers having a modicum of self awareness and pulling a Josstice League "I tried." 🤦

Ooof I can feel this despair.

Yeah, there is nothing worse than when a series appeals to the mouthbreathers which include the shippers and those that scream at the key jangling. They're loud and obnoxious and the "story" is great when they get what they want not what makes sense.

There's not as much as people think, but good lord are they loud.

I have had so many arguments with people about how Ekko would feel incredibly weird around Jinx because she murdered many of his friends. These people don’t care. They just want to see their ship. The journey doesn’t matter to them.

Reminder, the only character that got a “good” ending was Singed. The guy who did unspeakable experiments on humans, animals and corpses and made a human wolf hybrid. But it’s ok he was doing evil stuff for his daughter

Talk about a letdown. Season 1 of this show was so damn good. One of the best first seasons to anything I've ever seen.
And Season 2 was... well... this...

Where did these clown writers hide the body of the dude that wrote the first season of this show. I'm sad

@8light7 1 year ago

This is giving me GOT flashbacks. The later seasons being treated as if they are around the same level of quality as the much earlier seasons was such a common 🤡 take before the armageddon that was S8.

@ProphetJigalo 1 year ago

S1 being actually good only validated blind love for it as a whole, without them actually understanding what made it good, I wonder if andor season 2 will suffer the same fate.
