Its crazy how much shes accomplished at her age.

Honestly, I don't think Billie really needs to care about how much money she's making... the impact she's having on people around the world is probably more than enough. She's an artist, and as much as people might try to capitalise off of her artistry, she's not a business.

You’re saying “950 million unrealized value” but it’s not unrealized value. The Billie Eilish brand does not only pay Billie Eilish. It pays her record label, producers, musicians, managers, security, etc etc etc. Billie doesn’t have a branding issue that is causing her to lose money, she is simply earning her small cut. The truth about becoming a billionaire as an artist is the brand has to be worth 100 billion before the artist is worth 1 billion. Unless she had her own record label, there’s no way to earn such a large cut.

Oh I am too radicalized for this. 50 milion is plenty, no one needs a bilion dollar. There are people dying Kim.

I would love to see you analyze boys because I feel like it a crazy way boys and girls careers are just very different

The last thing this world needs is another billionaire

For Billie’s branding with her clothing, I really think it was always just a matter of how Billie wanted to express herself

girl it's ok, you don't need to change the title every other day just because it wasn't as positively received initially...

Disappointed in you suggesting she get involved in AI music. AI is the antithesis of art.

girl, I love your videos but it took you like 10 minutes to get to the point of video…

You should do Tyla, RAYE and pinkpanthress next. They all had breakout hits, but it’s like the momentum kinda faded after that. They were so close to fully breaking into the main pop girl scene, but now it feels like they’re stuck in this in-between phase — not underground, but not fully mainstream either. Like, semi-mainstream.

Billionaires should be forbidden. A net worth of 50 million is so more that many people will ever have and soooooo much money. Why do we always need to think bigger, better, stronger? Just let a girl chill with her 50 million

Here is the math, why Billy has "only" 50 million net worth:

First: Despite the official narrative, she didn't came from nothing. her parents made a development deal with an agency long before the official break through. These people invested big money and years of work into her, so of course they take a big chunk out of her revenue.

Second , a record deal is a legal scam and record companies are legal scammers. On average, artists get only 8% of the revenue, their music and brand creates. And that average already includes the revenue of big artists like Taylor Swift and Kanye, who have way more handsome deals than new artists. So, if the album by an upcoming artists made a million dollars, the pay check is only $ 80,000. Theoretically. Because they also have to pay the production, video shots, marketing tour support, travel expenses and more from their litte share. Which are hundreds of thousands of Dollars. This is why almost every musician actually ends up in debt and gets no pay out at all. A record deal is a big minus for the artist.

Famous example is Lauryn Hill. Her royalty share of 20 million records sales (approx 200 million Dollars) was only $ 1,900 !!! Despite being broke, she was forced by the company to uphold the image of a successful musician, had to attend at wards shows in expensive wardrobe and more. With only $ 1900 Dollars pay check after two years of work! Barely any famous musician made their fortune with their music. It all came from touring, merch and brand deals. That's why even legacy musicians still have to tour long after the zenith of their career, because they racked up millions of Dollars debt, as the result of signing a bad record deal at a young age.

Third: Streaming and the internet (Napster ect) ruined this lucrative business model for the record labels.  Hence they invented the 360 deal: If you sign a record deal, the company takes 92% from your music as usual, but also from every of your other revenue streams: Your merchandise sales, brand deals, movies, tour revenues, your income as an actor or speaker etc.

So, it is actually pretty impressive, that Billy has already 50 million and not only debts so early in her career.

Yes, music artists take a very small % of the money their music and tours make. But the last thing this world needs is more billionaires...

I don't think you said 950 million dollars enough times...

I don’t think being a billionaire is a goal we should have as people. I understand your content and love it, but this video just felt like “she is good so she should be richer”. I don’t understand the logic of that. People are still starving and being “good” is not an excuse for accumulating wealth. Billie is talented and seems kind, but let’s not forget what our fight actually is.

If you keep on mentioning the description of the video over and over instead of getting to the point just so the video can be 40 minutes you might get billionaire status faster than billie

This is a stupid video, I'm sorry. I just view Billie's evolution as growth - literal growth from a depressed teenager to a young adult who loves herself now. As a very vulnerable artist, that growth would show itself. Also, maybe its just from the perspective of someone who followed her career and experienced similar things to her, but expecting her to make the same music she made at 15? Is just dumb.
And why is it always about the money?? She's rich already, guys. What the hell does anybody need more money than that for??? Please.
I got a little worked up hehe😅

Honestly i'have never heard anybody say billie is overrated except one of those hate pages who literally hate everybody for clout
