She made good points. As a non American I cannot understand the American love and obsession with guns. Filling a house with weapons is NOT normal.

We don't have any wild animals dangerous to humans , we do have our share of nutters and criminals but you don't have to worry about guns, let alone stray bullets. We Police by consent, and Officers are approachable if you need help, but they can also use appropriate force and there are trained firearms units that can be called if needed. I can't imagine what living in the US must feel like from the safety  point of view

In England and Australia and New Zealand, the emphasis is on deescalation not blowing peoples heads off at the first opportunity.

I watched the Micheal Moore documentary about Columbine. He went to Canada in the making of it, where there as as many guns per person in the country as there is in the US. Yet gun deaths there were ridiculously low compared to the US per year. It's because you in the US are pumped full of fear time after time in order for the Government to "protect" you by slowly taking your rights to freedom away. I once helped an American who was visiting people in Dundee (Scotland), who got lost but was too afraid to knock on someone's door to ask for directions. I asked if she was alright as she had an 'I'm so lost' facial expression, and took her with me to show her the way. She said you're as likely to get shot going to someone's door to ask for help back home when I suggested she try that in the future while here. 😳

In UK the driving test is nationwide and  is quite comprehensive and that also promotes safety imo.

You are one of my favorite YouTubers. Not only do you seem like a lovely, genuine guy, but you can also see beyond the USA fishbowl. This lovely lady is after my heart; she says everything I've been thinking for a long time. Lots of love from The Cotswolds,  England xxx

In the US, people are encouraged/forced to make each individual feel they're on their own as regards safety, health, income and general well-being. If they 'fail' on any of those counts, it's their own fault. Whereas, in the UK and other European countries, it's assumed, quite rightly, that the society at large takes at least some responsibility for its citizens...hence the safety rules, health service, and other safety-nets. This, to me, is the difference between a civilised and uncivilised country!

Big money in guns!  NRA has lots of power in US!

GOD-BLESS YOU BROTHER NEAL..!!!.. 🙏

If you go up against a Glesca Polis with anything short of a howitzer, you'll be in a world of pain.

Why do Americans have such a 'gun culture?'  And, it has nothing to do with the Wild West and other such nonsense.  It is because the American firearms producers create the fear.

Packs of squirrels can hunt you down. Viscous!

Whatever doesn't kill you, leaves you scarred.

She makes very good points about UK

Neal, I’ve watched you over a few years now and wanted to say that you are a joy to watch 😊You have a light inside of you that shines brightly and comes across the screen! Your compassion for others and their situations or events is evident, you have a kind and good character with a sense of calmness in spite of any of the challenges you or any of us face in this world. Your love of God, family, love of your son is heart warming. Another great video ⭐️

If you give someone a phone, are they less, or more likely to use it? If you give someone a gun .....,?

Not having to fear much in the UK can lead to over confidence when we’re in other countries. I was in Quito in Equator last year and my partner and I walked all around the city using google maps to get us the 4 miles back to our hotel. Apparently we were walking through areas that were not safe for tourists. We never felt threatened and enjoyed interacting with people. Same in Naples this year. I didn’t realise that the real nice but really  cheap room I’d booked into was in an unsafe area.

They can feel mostly safe because we didn't allow our population to have guns, so they don't have to assume people they come across are armed with guns.
They also didn't have to worry much about knife crime for decades until around 2000 knife crime was rare.
During my childhood the police assigned officers to areas, so we had a local "Bobby" who walked around the area "his beat" and got to know the people most likely to cause trouble, and simply talking to most troublemakers parents was enough to keep you in line, without needing to go to the station.

You have to look out for squirrels, they hunt it packs when you least expect it!

Statically, the most dangerous animal in the uk is the cow.
