We've ranked Kenpachi and Hitsugaya's fights in the past - now it's time to complete the trifecta with Byakuya! Which Byakuya fight is your favourite? Do you agree with my list? As this list is looking at his canon fights only, no, his awesome battle with Kōga isn't on here...but that IS a great one. Thanks everyone!

Byakuya vs Uncle Tsukishima always tugs at the heartstrings. He was there for Byakuya during Hisana’s illness, inspired his Asauchi, and knitted his iconic scarf with love in every stitch

@CaptainKotetsu 1 year ago

The fight where he doesn’t smile is obviously the best.

i know it was filler but byakuya vs kouga is easily top 5 in the series

"I do indeed owe you my life. I am grateful. But you are… Ichigo Kurosaki's enemy. Therefore, it is no matter whose life you've saved…"
- Byakuya to Tsukishima

Yeah number 1 was expected.

Ichigo's blade on Byakuya's neck is an iconic shonen shot

Byakuya vs ichigo 1 was sooo iconic and the scene when byakuya seemingly teleported past ichigo and folds him is 1 of the scenes ever that made bleach soo popular in the early 2000s.... Even byakuya's line (you are slow even when you fall) was cold it gives me chills every time I remember it, just a legendary line

And the final Byakuya vs ichigo is definitely at the very least top 3 greatest fight in the history of bleach, especially considering what was on the line with that fight and lore behind it..... Byakuya's motivation were so unique and complex honestly the more I think about that arc the more I realise how much it was a masterpiece....

His fight against Tsukishima might not be the overall #1, but it has some of the rawest lines in all of Bleach. I'm not overly fond of Byakuya in general, but this fight made even me into a fanboy. He's insanely cold in that fight.

You're slow, even to fall😮
Best Byakuya line ever.
Also:; you forget, I too have ... Bankai

A video like this for Rukia and Renji would be cool. Now that we were given Uryu vs Renji i can see that ranking him for him

Byakuya vs Tsukishima is too good. Not only a great fight within itself, but it also is one of the major examples of how good the fullbring arc is (the best in the original material imo) and this loyalty not only Byakuya but the rest of the soul reapers who show up to save Ichigo, I think give an answer to Ywachs question of why Ichigo is fighting a battle that isn't his.

At the lowest point he has ever experienced the soul reapers showed up and made the difference between him completely losing everything and reclaiming his life.

I literally just met the English VA for Byakuya yesterday, what a perfectly timed video!

@skyrogue1977 1 year ago

Good thing the anime let him solo 3 Sternritter.

@derrikwilliams2718 1 year ago

Byakuya’s moments with Ichigo are some of the best in the series and his respect and dedication to him is awesome development

@Outsider_98 1 year ago

I know this is a manga only list, but I think Byakuya’s fight with Koga from the Zanpakuto rebellion arc deserves to be here. The swordsmanship and Kidou skills from both fighters was just amazing 🤩

@Yob5840 1 year ago

His fight with tsukishima is my favourite one after his both fights with ichigo in ss arc because he said to tsukishima - I'm not fighting you as my enemy, I am fighting you because you are ichigo kurosaki's enemy - I just loved it ❤

@Sintpro100 1 year ago

Finally one of the best captain gets his ranking 🔥⚡️💥

@Atticus-Catnipp 1 year ago

Byakuya has been a very solid fighter in the story. An all rounder who made the most out of his noble lineage. Soul society’s finest have an upstanding man. He is so elegant yet straight.

@thekwjiboo 1 year ago (edited)

As much as I disliked the entire arc, how Byakuya defeated Tsukishima was one of the most badass moves anyone ever pulled in Bleach.

@ashvalkyriee 1 year ago

i am a bleach fan, but was never really into the "fandom" and community, so i didn't know what to expect; i didn't know byakuya vs ichigo was so highly rated. it's definitely my favourite fight of the entire series but i thought since it was so long ago maybe it wouldnt get a high spot on such a list
