Well, you knew this was coming.

We've had an updated look at the best characters of Bleach's final arc, now it's time for a dive into the worst of the worst - who are the biggest losers of TYBW?

Once again we've got a few (dis)honourable mentions, plus a total list of 13 - though a few were close to making the cut, like Izuru. The Zero Division would've been on here too, had the anime not improved their standing.

Enjoy, and let me know your lists too!

Well, you knew this was coming. We've ranked the best, now here's the rest - who are the worst treated characters in TYBW? Who are the final arc's biggest losers? In this updated for 2024 list, we're taking no prisoners! Like last time, if you're curious, some characters that almost made the list include Izuru and the Zero Division (the anime saved them)! Thanks everyone!

"There is no Greater Security here than me" is oldspeak for "Nah I'd win"

Yamamoto falling in half might be the single-most jaw-dropping page in the entire manga

"Robert Accutrone, I bestow upon you the Schrift "N". My Lawyer has advised me not to elaborate further."

The vizards not using their masks in battle even once, and them not being mentioned once when the solution to the bankai stealing turns out to be something very similar to hollowfication, is absolutely ridiculous. It does sounds like Kubo wants you to forget they, or at least the vizard aspect of them, exist.

Harribel got betrayed and killed by aizen, then just when she finally gets some respect put on her name the freaking son of the soul king knocks on her door, absolutely decimates her and leaves her forgotten and trapped in a jail cell with no further use in the arc

Izuru was disposed of so fast and side-handedly that he was forgotten even in the list of losers.
Sad boy was merc'd on frame one of the invasion and afterwards was turned into zombie/cyborg thing.

Sometimes, it feels like Kubo resented how popular Hisagi became and would just have him Ls out of spite. That or it would feel like Kubo thought, "The fans think Hisagi is really strong, so lets have him lose to the villains so that the fans can see how strong they are."

Hisagi EARNED CFYOW. My boy really went through it.

Given how quickly certain characters on this list lost or died during the arc it's funny that Kubo decided to let the duo of Ikkaku and Yumichika make it so far and fight so many powerful Quincy without using their full powers.

15:45 I feel like a lot of her bubbly personality died when Gin did. She was so crushed when he was killed that she didn't feel the same ever again.

The anime really shows how miserable Bambi’s unlife was getting used as a human shield and blood bag

Rose with a star through him is just an iconic look atp

Chojiro got another retroactive boost to his profile by the anime revision, given the information that he managed to get the drop on Yhwach in the Lichtreich War giving Yanamoto the opening to win back then and the implications that he was targeted first on purpose in recognition of that.

@fadedneonzzz9259 2 years ago

I know she technically survives, but Bambietta got screwed over so hard. Not to say her defeat wasn’t good, just anticlimactic for how prominent she was at the beginning. The same can be said about Cang Du and BG9.

you didn't just put my boy Yama in a thumbnail that says losers

There's this thing that sometimes happens in professional wrestling. Where a guy who management didn't expect much from becomes popular and gets over. They don't really fit into the plan so instead of running with their newfound popularity, they get buried and humiliated over and over again until whatever fan support they have disappears.

Feels like the TYBW Arc was this for Hisagi.
