Spinning with friends is the best kind of spinning. It was great to see you, Charlie! Next time I'll have to head over to your neck of the woods. Then you can take me to Remainders. 😊 Happy spinning! 💜🧶

I love how textile hobbies are all gateways to a deep crafting rabbit hole. Can't wait for you and Matheus to start rearing sheep

Aaahh!  You and Evie together made my day!  If you’d put up the whole three-hour conversation, I would have happily watched every minute of it.  Two smart, thinky women talking about fiber arts and history and life … there’s nothing better!
🥰🥰🥰

Gravity exists 😆

This is my favourite YT collab ever. Jillianeve is a crafting treasure.

Nøstepinne spotted! Also, it's kinda fun to watch someone who is very used to doing tutorials have an actual beginner next to them following the instructions. I especially love Eve sitting there going "you're fine, you're fine, this is normal, you're okay--annnd now I'm gonna stop you for a second and re-explain before this gets worse--Anyway, you're fine, you're fine..."

Fun fiber twist fact 1:  most commercial yarns are spun so that knitting add twist to them, and crochet untwists them.  Crochet cotton has a lot of extra twist added so that when you crochet with it, it doesn't untwists and get splitty.  So, if your looking for a very energetic yarn, consider crochet cotton.  Or is a yarn is too splitty when crocheting with it, consider knitting it instead.

I love watching spinners teach new spinners -- the joy of discovery and "oh that's the way I explain it too!" or "ooo, I should totally snag that description!" As a spinner for more than 25+ years, I never tire of enjoying when someone new gets a chance to try the craft. CONGRATS on your first time spinning! I'll be over here cheering for you all the time, even if you don't come back to it. Everyone gets to make their own choices on their crafty pursuits. Welcome to experiencing this one! 💖💖💖

Now I don't feel so bad about having 13 sewing machines.

28:55 I'm going to a free beginner's embroidery class tomorrow for this very reason, the hobby of  "learning new stuff" is one of the most rewarding hobbies in its own right!
Also, you are a portion of the reason I decided to take the class! Seeing the cool/pretty projects you make, and being decently competent with another fiber art are pretty good motivators to keep learning.

The day an elderly relative taught me to spin was a GREAT DAY! We also drank a bottle of wine. I learned on a Columbine, learned to drop spin later. Dang I love spinning.

thank you for being so diligent with your subtitles! i really appreciate it

Oooh two of my favourite creators are doing a Collab!!!!!!! Cannot wait to watch this :D

Two of my favourite 'Tubers in one place! Yay!!

I have always been fascinated by spinning but never learned it. This was an amazing entry level video on the "how to" of it all. Thank you to both of you. Would love to see a collab with a spinning wheel now.

Two of my faves together!  What a delight.

In our house,  I was always the person who prepared the fleeces for spinning. I never succeeded in learning to spin though so other people did that. I adore carding❤

Love when you collab and learn something new.

Thank you, girls!❤ Not only a spinning teaching video but also a historically accurate recreation of a girly chat doing spinning🕯so fascinating to think about yarn from the energy point of view, thank you, Jillian!

Love Jillian Eve--so fun to see you two teaming up!
