"Your daughter is now a swamp shark." Yep, one sentence and I'm a fan.

Prince Charming isn't on the Rumpelstiltskin client list.

"Swamp shark" 😭😭😭

I always did find Shrek's line about how his father tried to eat him because he's an ogre strange, because it seemed to validate people's judgments of who ogres are.

So Shrek gaslights a highschooler into taking responsibilities he's not ready for and takes advantage of his lack of a strong father figure to convince him doing very serious things he's not capable of comprehending the weight of, and that will eventually lead to his ruin is fun and "empowering" just so Shrek can profit from it and "subvert the system". What a message.

So he's basically like the "adult" industry, fitting since the people running that are also "Ogres" lmao

Arty's speech makes no sense from Charming's perspective, everyone else gets to be what they wanna be except him.

Despite all the rich natural resources in the swamp, ogres never built a two story ogre shed

Note that Charmings speech and Artie's speech have a similar message, but one is denoted as villanous while the other is considered liberating. "You were made out be the villain, but that doesn't have to be true, unless what you want is tradition and you oppose replacement."
