Shout out to the EU for demanding standardised phone chargers. Gotta be one of my favorite things

EU is not the same as Europe. Europe consists of 44 countries but only 27 are members of the EU.
Good to know in this type of discussion.

*Cries in British*... I'll never forgive the people who voted to leave the EU and stripped me of my rights

What was left out the final chapter of EU citizens freedoms (paraphrased): These freedoms does not give you a right to deprive these freedoms from any other person.

My daughter broke her leg in Cyprus,x rays, medicine, hospital stay etc didn't cost us a penny🇬🇧

Europeans also have the right to bare arms. The difference is when we use our right to bare arms we just put on a t-shirt 😂

Yesterday I went for a 20 km walk. I started in Germany, went through the Netherlands, then into Belgium and then I went home.

Since 2022, Ukrainian refugees coming to Poland have been treated equally to citizens, meaning that every Ukrainian refugee is treated better by the Polish government than the average American citizen is by their own government: free healthcare, free education, job protection, paid time off and maternity leave, access to social programs, and more. The right to a dignified life!

The first and major different: In the EU there are HUMAN rights. In the USA there are citizen rights. Second different.: For example, if Canada will join the EU, all Canadians can travel, work and live in every EU country they choose. Without a separate permission ore a visa ore a special control at the border. 10:10 In the EU you do not need a passport. Your ID-card is enough. In Europe EVERY citizen has a ID-card. With this you can travel in every country in the EU and a lot of other countries outside the EU, Turkey for example. And with this ID-card you can vote.

@6:15 You misunderstood, JT.  She said that if you are one of the Europeans who travelled OUTSIDE of the EU, and then lose your passport (whilst IN that non-EU country, for example the US), you can then get help (obtaining a new passport) from the embassies and/or consulates from ANY other EU country, not just your own country's.  Supposes you are in a city close to the French embassy, but your own country's embassy is on the other side of the country.. you can then as the French for help getting you on your way.

6:28 yes we can get healthcare abroad, I’m from France and if I got sick in the US, the French government would pay for my medical care the same way it would if I was in France

Very important detail to consider: mostly the US grants freedom TO, while the EU mostly grants freedom FROM. Looks like a little detail, but it's a big difference.

The best part about traveling in Europe is if you travel from a European Union country to another European Union country you dont even need a passport, for example from the Netherlands to Spain, you can just take a plane with ur ID card😂

I live in Slovakia. This year I've already visited Hungary twice, Austria four times, Czechia twice and Portugal once.

3:00 it's the other way around, the EU laws are ABOVE national laws. so no matter in which country you are in, you are protected by the EU laws and rights

About the passport, in the video is not talking if I loose my passport traveling in the EU (eve because I don't need one, ID card is enough) but traveling outside EU.
for example, I'm italian, traveling in the US, if I losose my passport, i can go to every EU country's embassy or consulate and I'll receive assistance as I'm from the country the embassy is from (e.g. Germany, France, Austria etc.)

History in Kentucky,, seriously? I've got a bottle of whisky older than Kentucky

The European union is like a club, not every European country is in the European union club, there are a lot of countries that have not joined in Europe,

As a european, its suprising this is isnt the cause in america

@4:00 - between their country of birth, and residence - yes
