* Lichtenstein soldiers return *
Soldiers: No casualties, General.
General: Excellent, but who is that?
Soldiers: That's Paul. Say hi, Paul.
Paul: Hi.

3:40 While Iceland was mosquito free, they have never been free of biting, annoying, swarming insects. They have midges, which are worse.

6:58 This is not San Marino, but Klis Fortress in Croatia 😁

The eastern borders of Europe are different from what was shown in the video, Turkey is part of Asia (only the western part of Istanbul and a portion of Thrace is Europe), European Russia reaches up to the Ural Mountains and continues along the Ural River to the North Caucasus.

The whole of Europe was not on the map. The eastern border of Europe runs through the Ural Mountains. Although Russia is often left off the map.

I think "Da Noob" is somewhere in Vietnam.
"Dan-ube" is a major European river.

He totally missed out on the fact that Sweden has the most islands in the world. More than 260 000 of them.

Iceland has bloodsucking flying insects, just not actual mosquitoes lol

Iceland has always had TRILLIONS of midges though, and they're worse than mosquitoes in my opinion. Sure you won't get diseases but they just eat you alive.

The cologne cathedral was under construction for over 800 years

The construction using traditional methods is a castle in France.

At the time the Liechtenstein army went to their mission in the mountains, this region was not in Italy. Italy did not even exist as a state of it's own at that time. So that was part of the County of Tirol.

Since Ireland was missed, here’s a bonus fact: Ireland is home to Killary Harbour, which is often mistakenly claimed to be the only true fjord in Europe outside of Norway. While Iceland and Scotland definitely have them too, Killary is Ireland’s only true glacial fjord, a stunning 16km inlet on the Galway/Mayo border that is over 45m deep. Definitely belongs on a list of unique European geography!

The starting animation of the eastern border is already wrong. Even though the Ural mountains are clearly visible (starting to think these mistakes are deliberate, to get a lot of comments and boost the algorithm - it's clearly working)

There's so much wrong information in that video

I’m from Barcelona. The long construction of the Sagrada Família isn’t an accident or some kind of anomaly. It comes down to a couple of key factors: it’s an expiatory temple, and Gaudí’s design is extraordinarily complex.

From the very beginning, the Sagrada Família was meant to be an expiatory church. That means it isn’t funded by public money or institutional budgets, but only through donations and voluntary contributions. This isn’t a minor detail, it’s central to its spiritual meaning, as a collective act of moral reparation. Because of that, construction has always moved at the pace of available resources. That explains the long interruptions caused by the Spanish Civil War, the loss of original plans, and the very slow progress during much of the 20th century. In the 21st century, more modern construction techniques and planning methods were introduced, allowing the work to move faster.

Seen in historical context, this timeline is nothing unusual. Across Europe, major cathedrals took centuries to complete. The Cologne Cathedral, for example, began in 1248 and wasn’t finished until 1880, over 600 years later. The Duomo of Milan, started in 1386, took nearly five centuries to reach completion.

So no, the Sagrada Família isn’t “taking too long.” What it offers is something rare today: the chance to watch, in real time, the kind of monumental construction that earlier generations only ever saw finished. It follows the long rhythm of history, not the fast pace of the modern world.

People often forget about the "Cimbrian peninsula" (or in English most commonly called just "Jutland") that forms the continental portion of Denmark and part of northern Germany. :D In German we call it "Kimbrische Halbinsel" or "Jütische Halbinsel".

12:05 To add to this, Vatican City is not the actual subject of international law. You could argue that there is no state of Vatican, but the state is the Holy See, and Vatican City is its dominion. If you want an international contract with Vatican, you have to sign the contract with the Holy See, not with Vatican City.

2:13 Greeks saw the Mediterranean as the center of the world (which it was for them), and Europe was the land north of the Mediterranean, Africa the land to the South, and Asia the land to the East. To the West, there were the pillars of Hercules (today's Gibraltar and Ceutà) and the Okeanos, the Ocean. The idea of a continent as an oversized island came much later, when in the Age of Discovery, the coastlines of the world were mapped. But at the time, names were already engrained. Geologically, Europe hosts one of the oldest cratons (ancient continents), Baltica, which fused with the craton of Siberia to form the ancient super continent Rodinia. The Ural mountain range is some kind of weldseam between Europe and Asia.

Europe's border with  Asia is along the Ural mountains running south into the caspian sea. Not the straight line shown in the video
