PSA: using tactical reserve makes you use the standard bolt pistol for gunstrikes and makes your gunstrike damage less than half what it would be with other secondaries.

“Having two nade launchers is so much better!”
Heroic plasma pistol though…pocket nuke goes BOOOOOOM

Flamethrowert for close range + Bolt rifle for mid-long range? AND Arget edge knife? I mean come on, thats just crazy...

Not a fan of the rework at all

Btw balanced distribution straight up nerfs your gun if all you have is a secondary bolt rifle.

EMPORERS VENGEANCE DOES NOT COVER THE BOLT RIFLE IN SECONDARY

Plan accordingly

That's a really sad rework.

Has anyone else experienced the  bug where if you have a bolt rifle for your secondary your arm just folds inside of you. I’ve noticed it a few times now and frankly it hilarious but it also kinda bums me out

Great content—thanks for the explanation; I hadn't realized where my sidearm was. I only had a moment to check things out, but now I know. All the best!

I can run a Blood Angels champion with bolt rifle grenade launcher and the Axe Mortalis?!! COUNT ME IN

Wohooo rework straight to trashbin lmao. I can't wait how they will somehow nerf Heavy with their "rework"

I just don't get why tac has to give up a primary for a power sword or axe. Vanguard gets both axe and big gun? Techmarine gets both those, big gun, AND a fourth smaller gun specifically to make gun strikes easier. He even got the thunderhammer.

The only thing I dont like about the bolt rifle as a secondary is your gunstrike damage takes quite the nose dive, its probably completely worth it but for my particular enjoyment of the game I like having big gunstrikes 😅

The assault definitely needs the tacticals primary weapon perk. So he can have access to bolt carbines, bolt rifles or auto rifles and flamer. I would say Melta but after the new buffs and heavy restrictions on ammunition I’m never touching melts unless it’s tactical.

I don't know, I like passive chambering with two bolt rifles. You basically just switch between the two and never have to reload. Have had great success with it, and there is good synergy with the build.

Bummer that the Prime Target is outshown by much better perks in the same column, I actually think its a really interesting one.  Would be cool to combine with Armor Reinforcement & Pulse Auspex so that you can basically have free armor/interrupt as needed.

I feel like mobile auspex is the one to pair with strongpoint btw, since it makes the scan area longer and much larger so you can actually get a good team benefit out of those buffs.

Do Pulse Auspex and Strongpoint even synergize? Because it says that Pulse Auspex does NOT create a scan zone.

Does the melee replacing your primary still allow you to equip the bolt rifle as a secondary?

Heroic HBR for range and extremist / boss
Heroic combi melta for horde control, plus the nelta can be replenished by ammo caches
And argent's edge

Looks like a nerf disguised as a rework; Me no likie.
