sniper being so unpopular is hilarious hes easily the most op class in the game

I'm actually surprised that the Sniper is apparently so unpopular considering how busted he is.

I was a Tac Main before, the update changed nothing about that.

Can't wait for year 5

Melee Tactical is so damn fun currently. Especially with the bug/maybe feature of the HBP doing crazy damage.

Can't wait for Apothecary

I am liking the tactical rework, but the melee builds are lackluster compared to  ranged. I mean nothing beats spamming near 100% uptime auspex on a boss, and having two grenade launchers.

My poor Vanguard.  Look what they've done to my boy!  😅😓

As an Assault main, He is S tier. Ultra instinct vibes

One thing to consider is that classes like bulwark or heavy draw attacks away from the other players, while a sniper in a team basically means all attacks are split between 2 instead of 3 players, making it harder for them...

Having the GL bolter on the tactical makes it really easy to level new primary weapons also

im still a Vanguard main even this days , in my opinion that was a bad move to make a re-work tree for the BEST CLASS in the game FIRST ... when Vanguard and Heavy are in this position .. but i will shining next patch

100% agree regarding Sniper, when I took my first venture into Absolute true solos, I used Sniper, managed to clear it first try, and probably have over 95% success rate with true solo clears. Heroic Bolt Sniper just makes threats disappear, and he's even better in true solo because the enemies just sit still when he cloaks, so you can just pick off any of the heavy threats immediately without having to have the best aim.

Before the end of the first year when Bully did all the healing I always made the arguement that Tac and Heavy are the best classes. Because the faster you kill enemies the less likely for mistakes, stunlocks, and overall being damaged. And i stand by that now, you do not need to heal if you kill everything quickly.

Tac is my main and been running as a sword brothren since the patch. Very fun

I have to say, I agree with Assaults placement, but only when his ability isn't glitching out and refusing to recharge.

I can't agree more, that's exactly the ranking I would have made

I think tac needs a bit of tuning for melee, but he has been by favorite class since launch.  Since rework i find ive been swiching between melee and ranged loadouts depending on the map im on. Which is a good thing for the class

I main sniper with tactical as a secondary and both feel great.  Doing Crucible I've been told more than once I was the only sniper people have run into, which is kinda surprising because you just hose dmg with the right setups.  I recommend marksman carbine/inferno pistol/ardent edge.

cant wait for weapons tier list
